On Earth, Jane Foster, Darcy Lewis, and Eric Selvig where searching for Thor, or any sign of the BiFröst being active in a small remote town in Norway. Jane stared at her computer screen completely captivated by the radar scanning the sky.
"Jane come on you haven't stopped staring at it for days. Just come have breakfast with us." Darcy begged as she sat down across from Eric at the table. Her voice was had more cheer than a beg however. She had Poptarts which she was slightly trying to hide knowing that it would only remind Jane of Thor.
Jane sighed and put down the laptop. She dragged her feet to the table, rubbing her eyes and sitting down. "Do you think he'll come back today?" She asked hopefully. Eric made a doubtful face despite trying to hide it. "Maybe." He was all he said, it really was all he could say without breaking her heart. None of them really knew when Thor would return they didn't even know if he was alive still after the lights show of a battle they watched from the desert 2 years ago. They could only make guesses about the sight that was BiFröst being destroyed.

"Hey are those poptarts?" Jane asked Darcy with confusion as to where they came from.

"Yeah I got some at the store yesterday while you were still searching for him. I figured maybe he might stop by if we had some."

Jane just nodded taking out the metallic package and opening it to eat one. She really miss a lot while she was watching for Thor. In fact, she wasn't sure when she last left the house. Eric just sipped some coffee while looking through the newspaper. Jane was about to take a bite of her poptarts when they all froze. A quiet beeping noise was coming from the computer. Jane practically fell out of her chair trying to get to the computer. The radar had picked up something. It was just a few miles away, they could drive.
"Oh my god... It's him! It must be him!" She said almost jumping up and down with excitement. "Darcy, Check the other radar!" She did as Jane asked. It read positive as well! "Oh thank goddess yes! Quickly everyone get dressed we have to find find him!"

Jane grabbed her coat off the chair along with the radar and computer. She was about to run out the door when Eric grabbed her arm. "Jane, after seeing the destroyer come out of an occurrence like that... I don't know if we should get too close to it before we know what exactly causing the radars to go off. If it is Thor we should just wait. He'll find us right?" Eric said. He wanted to take precautions since the destroyer did level their town. Jane looked at him with desperation.

"But Eric... What if it is him? What it he can't find us?"

"He can find us. He is a god."

Darcy had been listening spoke. "Yeah. I think I he can. I wonder if he's still hot."

"Darcy!"

"What? We were all thinking it." She smirked a little bit at Jane's reaction. Jane had really missed Thor. Two years was a little long to keep a girl waiting. She was starting to feel like Amy Pond. Eric persuaded Jane a little more and she finally sat down again sighing. She kept watching the radar as the beeping faded and the portal closed. The room fell silent again.
