Its was like every other Saturday me and my family gathered around our table trying to figure out what game we were going to play. Like always I sat there with my music blaring in my ears until my dad yelled at me to put it away. My brother wanted to play Monopoly and my mom wanted to play this old game called Farkle and my dad just sat there listening to them fight. Me on the other hand wanted to go back to my room to watch this new Anime my friend told me about. I didn't even heat my patents call my name.
"Jammie are you even listening to us" my dad snaps
" No sorry what did you say" I mumbled
I'm not one to talk much or loud in front of my parents. I usually keep to my self held up in my room.
"We asked which one you wanted to play" My brother says with lots of attitude.
With even more attitude then my brother I fire back at him.
"I don't know or care how about something that you can keep up with"
"Jammie that is no way to speck to your brother, apologize right now." My mom squeaks
My parents never take my side my little brother is always right and always perfect that's why I prefer my friends then my family. Don't get my wrong I love them but they have a favorite and you can tell who.
" Jammie do as your mother tells of you" my dad yells even though I am right next to him
With all the courage I had I told them what needed to be said
" I will not apologize for what I said to him, I am done getting treated like I'm nothing around her when I'm always the better one." And with that I left to my room and locked my door.
I went and packed up three suitcases with all my clothes and electronics and anything else I needed and I left to the only place I could go. My best friend Clare.
