Chapter 38

Jammies POV

I woke up in Nicks arms a small smile tugged on my lips. I slipped out of the bed slowly and quietly and walked to the hospital cafeteria. I got a cup of coffee and sat down at one of the tables in the corner. I was sipping my drink when I heard my phone go off.

Claire: Hey were all getting ready to go. How much longer until Nick can leave.

J: Another day Ill stay with him and then we will see you guys when we get home.

C: Okay that sounds good.

J: Is Andy with you?

C: No I haven't seen him since the last time we all visited.

J: Okay well I just don't want to leave him.

C: well why don't you try and text him.

J: Okay talk to you later.

I kept my phone out and scrolled through my contacts.

J: Hey were are you everyone is leaving today I'm staying with Nick until he can leave.

I waited for a few minutes for him to reply. I had finished my coffee and now I was just waiting for a reply.

A: I know I'm already home I left last night sorry I didn't tell you but I thought I would just get out of the way.

J: You weren't in the way but I'm glad your all right.

A: Yup ill talk to you later.

J: Okay bye.

A: Bye

I went up back to Nicks room to see him with the T.V remote in his hand flipping through channels. He turned his head and gave me a smile.

"Hey were did you go."

"Needed some coffee. So I went down to get some."

"Cool. Well I get discharged tomorrow so we wont be behind everyone else that long."

"Yeah I know I'm going to ask Blair to get all your stuff packed then I'm going to go back to the hotel."

"Okay when are you doing this."

"Later today."

"Okay."

Well decided to watch T.V for a while until Blair texted me telling me that our stuff was packed so I had to leave to pick it up. I decided to walk so I could save some money. When I got there I headed up to my room to get the luggage. When I opened the door Blair wasn't there.

I saw our stuff on the bed. I went over to go get it when I saw a note in Blairs hand writing.

Hey Jammie sorry I'm not here when I got done packing your stuff we had to leave for the bus sorry I couldn't say goodbye see you and Nick when you get home.

That sounds right I forgot the time Claire told me they were leaving. I grabbed are bags and decided to get a taxi this time. I walked down the steps of the hotel and stood by the curb. I took a few try's but I soon got one to stop.

**TIME SKIP**

Once I got to the hospital I paid the taxi driver and grabbed the luggage out of the back. I carried the bags to Nicks room to find him asleep. I put our stuff in the corner and walked over to his bed side. I kissed the top of his forehead and he stirred awake. He gave me one of his beautiful smiles then scooted over on the bed to give me room. I got into the bed and laid my head on his chest. I wasn't tired eailer but now I was starting to get that feeling of needing sleep. I closed my eyes and listened to the sound of his heart beating. I soon fell asleep after that.
