She was an ordinary school girl, never fit in. Kathy was smart enough to pass all her classes but not enough to be noticed. She was never very popular and was more often than not being picked on by the cleshe jock, Ryan.
One day Kathy had enough, her eyes grew almost black from anger and hate at Ryan and his goons. When she got home she cut her hair short and became the bad girl everyone feared. She started stealing and vandalizing things, after she had done something horrible she would sign it with her calling "Do you have Faith in me?" at the security cameras or writing it somewhere someone would find it (i.e. in marker on the glass of the jewelers, the window of a bank, across the side of a bridge). Kathleen decided that if she really wanted their fear she'd have to do something big, something drastic, something...dangerous. The next Monday she came into class late, the teacher, Mr. P, gave her detention after school. She just smiled and strode over to her seat. Later during the time she should have been in detention, she decided to go out to the teacher's lot and key Mr. P's car. It was there that she decided a simple key job would not do it, she needed something stronger, and a bit more scary.
After an hour, some paperwork, and two cups of coffee he decided that Kathleen wasn't going to show up, so he went out to his car and fund the words "Do you have faith in me?" engraved into his car doors. He clicked the unlock button on his key fob, found it didn't work, then used his keys to manually unlock it, got in and tied to start his car...nothing happened. He tried again, and again nothing. He got out, removing and pocketing the keys as he did, and popped the hood...and saw that everything you could disconnect without gloves or tools was disconnected. Knowing that he shouldn't touch it he walked into the school angrily and headed straight for shop, in hopes that there was someone there who could fix his car so he could get home. He found Christy there he knew she worked at her father's car shop over the summer, so he thought that she might be able to help put his car back into working order.
He brought Christy out to the lot to find that the hood of his car was down, his door was closed, and the car was locked...he didn't remember doing any of that. He fished out his key fob and pressed the unlock button and much to his surprise it unlocked. He opened the door and re-popped the hood to let Christy have a look, nothing was wrong, everything was in it's place as it should be.
She told him to try and start it. It started first try. He was confused, and told Christy what happened. She didn't believe him until she saw the cryptic message engraved in his car doors.
Seeing that she was no longer needed and Mr. P was ready to drive away she went back into the school.
Mr. P was in his car ready to drive away then the sun came out so he flipped down his visor. A folded up sheet of black paper fluttered out onto his lap. He unfolded it to find neon pink writing.
Mr. P,
I hope you liked the scare. I decided I wanted to help you. But you cant fix something that isn't broken. So I broke it, then I fixed it. You're welcome.
-Faith
P.S. My name is NOT Kathleen, it's Onyx and I'd appreciate if you would address me as such. Make sure you get the other teachers addressing me as such as well.
He frantically drove home.
