Yes, having only father killed was the plan. I gave you a choice because I knew that you were going to choose the easy way out. The syringe was filled with a beautiful unearthly liquid that makes you hear other people's thoughts. I would highly recommend not going out to extremely crowded places like the mall until you have adjusted to all the strange and unusual voices that will intrude into your mind. Be wary of the questions and insults that are thrown your way, as they may not even be voiced out loud. You will also see your personality changing, becoming darker and more introverted. Your complexion will also change, your hair will stay the same but your skin will become more pale, and you will grow another inch or two, your appearance will eventually allow you to be mistaken for an eighteen year old.
