After many years of learning and training for battle, I became a great leader. No one ever dared to challenge me, not even stronger wolves. I was very skinny and quick, so I would wear them out instead. Even when I had one eye, I was still fierce, startling some at first glance too, also hunting and fighting as if I did have two eyes.
Maple become our healer - the best one we've ever had. She knew everything about healing, and even made her own remedies aside from the ones she knew. She would spend a lot of time alone, causing her to be very quiet.
Soot took hunting and tracking very seriously, and was the best tracker in the pack. He eventually became beta - the second in command. Everyone listened to him, and enjoyed his company because of his outgoing personality.
The best part was that we were still great friends. At this point, I was 17, a teenager. Maple was 16, and Soot was 18.
This was the part where everything got particularly interesting.
