"Raven I'm so glad you could make it" May closed the door after letting Raven in. Raven looked around the large house. You could tell May's family was wealthy by the expensive artwork on the walls and the leather furniture in front of the large entertainment center.
"Yeah me too..." The two girls went up the stairs towards May's room as they walked in Raven saw another girl sitting on the floor. "Oh looks like there's a party" Raven chuckled nervously.
"Oh yeah this is Callie! She's one of my friends I made after joining cheerleading" May layed on her bed as the girl looked up and waved at Raven from the floor. The girl had bright blonde hair that was in a perfect ponytail. She had piercing bright green eyes that seemed to see every secret you have. Her body was small and toned like most cheerleaders.
"Cool I can't wait to get to know you!" Raven set her bags down. "So what now?"
May looked at Callie and smiled. "How about a makeover?" Callie grinned.
They both looked at Raven and Raven knew who the victim of this cruel sleepover tradition would be. She shrugged.
"Isn't that a little cliche? "
"Of course not! We do it all the time it's fun to be someone else for a while" Callie stood up and went to the corner of the room where her stuff was and she pulled out a makeup box.
"Come on Raven it'll be fun" May smiled sweetly and got up standing next to Callie.
"But why be someone else? Why be... fake?" Raven looked at them kinda disgusted at the thought of being a fake preppy girl like the two girls standing in front of her.
"Just sit and let us do it ok?" Callie pushed down on Raven's shoulder forcing her to sit down. The girls started working on her doing her hair and makeup and half an hour later they let her look in the mirror. Looking back at her was a different person. Her hair was in a high ponytail like the cheerleaders, her cheeks had a pink rosy blush, her eyes had even thicker lashes, no doubting they they were fake, and they had applied cat eyes than Raven had ever dared to put on herself in fear of appearing like like a racoon. Fake. She felt like a plastic Barbie doll sitting on display. Fake. She was sitting here smiling pretending she thought she looked pretty. Fake. She was pretending she was bff's with Callie and May. Fake. She was acting as if she was a normal teenager. Fake. She was acting like she hadn't killed the boy. She was Fake.
