Chapter 2 (Bonni Whyness)

I found myself slowly pull away. "Oh man, I love free period." I whispered.

"Oh, I know you do..."

I giggled, "Max, I-" I was interrupted by him pulling in again. This time, he swirled tongues with me. I felt the passion of it all, and I enjoyed every second of it. After what seems like minutes, he pulls away, letting us breath again. "Woah..."

"I know, right?" He whispered.

"Um, Max..."

"Hmmm?"

"I... I...."

"Yeah, what's wrong, babe?" He stared at me with his dreamy green eyes. I saw him shake some hair of his eyes. I didn't know if I could do it... But I did.

I slapped him, "I know you're cheating on me with Evia Freeman!"

He gave me a shocked face, "H-Ho-How'd you..." I showed him a picture on my phone of the security footage of him and Evia... making out. "Oh...  Um... Well... "

I liked every minute of it, that cheater. "I decided to get you by surprise..." I say wiping of my lip. I walk away, and grab his shirt collar in the process, "It's over."

As I walk down the hall, I realize that I'm like a total heartbreaker. I've had 2 boyfriends within the last three months, and even a marriage proposal. I'm just like, 15! I walk down the hall when I see Gabriel Moon staring at me. That idiot. I meet up with my friend, Kathy. "Hey, bffl!"

"Bffl!" She walks up to me and hugs me, "So, how's it going with Maxie!"

"Uh.. Oh yeah, we, uh, we just broke up. Yeah, I found out that he was cheating on me.

She gave me a sad face. "Bonni..."

"No, yeah, it's fine. I mean, I just guess that he wasn't for me... just like the other 14 boyfriends I made in life."

"Bonni, you are just, well, desperate." She gave me another hug, "You'll find that special guy very soon!" I sure hope I do...

"Ok class, today we will be studying more of the outside world, the earth's past, present, and predicted future will be involved in this lesson." She picked up her notebook, "Read through pages 650-687. You will answer the following questions on the board." She typed into her laptop, then a huge screen popped in front of the classroom. I love being Thechity, people like us make things like that. "Class, here is a website of all the questions in which you shall be answering. Please get out your MePads and get on the following website. You will then login with your Local Password and Username. Answer all the questions." She went through the questions on the screen with her stylus. I love learning.

I gladly came on the bus. I like learning, but hate going into the Edunites District. I'd rather stay in the Thechity District, my district. My home.

"Hey Bonni!" I turn over to Kathy, who is sitting beside me. "Can I come over today? I talked to my mom over the phone, and she said it was fine." She held up her purple MePad and smiled. I love the way that Kathy looks, she has dark black hair, unlike my light blond hair. She has brown eyes, unlike my light green eyes. She has dark skin and huge eyelashes, once again unlike me. I wish I looked more like her... "So... Can I come over?"

"Wha-uh-sure, of course you can, mom wouldn't mind." She smiled at my words, and I smiled back.

"Mom! I'm home, and Kathy is here to study with me, ok?!" I came in through the door, motioning for Kathy to come in. "Uh, mom?"

There was a small moment of silence, when I saw my mom come up the hall. "Oh yes, sweetie, yes it is alright if Kathy stays," she smiled at me and Kathy, "Help yourselves to the fridge kids, I have to go to a meeting on the other side of the Thechity District, so I wont be back for a couple of hours, ok?" I nodded yes as she straightened out her blond hair. "Your father will be off of work at the same as me, so we might grab a bite to eat together. You guys can have dinner whenever, as long as it's before 6:00, and Kathy better leave before 10:00, your bedtime. We will be back at 11:00, but you better be in bed by ten, understood?" She talked as she made sure that she had everything in her purse, we nodded yes the whole time. "Ok, bye my sweet!" She kissed my forehead and smiled at Kathy, then walked out the door.

"Bye mom!" I yelled. I turned to Kathy, and we giggled. "When you leavin'?"

"Let's say... 9:00!" She smiled, "That's, like, 6 hours!"

I smiled as well, "Come on, let's study. Then, let's snack. Then let's watch some horror movies. Then let's snack some more! Then let's paint nails! Then le-"

"Ok, calm down girl! We've gotta study for the test!" Kathy smiled as we walked down the hall, "We study, then we.. do everything that you said, ok?" She opened my bedroom door as she waited for and answer. I nodded yes. "Good." She dropped down on my bed and got out her note book.

I sat down with her, "Hey, let's do our homework together, too!" I suggested, wiggling my instructions paper.

"Bonni! You know that's against the law!" She said, giving me a face. I shrugged my shoulders.

"I guess your right." She is right. Ever since our long ago ancestors moved into the dome, there was new laws and removed laws. Weaponry is illegal. Copying/working together on assignments is illegal. Any type of crime is defiantly illegal, and it is punished my death regardless of age, situation, or condition; the dome is more peaceful with this law, believe it or not. Allegiance made new ways long ago. Of course, there is much more new laws, but there's to much to mention.

Just then, I heard a scurrying sound, and then Mr. Gadget came into my bedroom door. "Good evening, Ms. Bonni. Good evening, Ms. Kathy." He said in a monotonic robotic voice. He sounds like he doesn't have feelings, but trust me: When I broke my leg when I was little, he shed tears of oil. I love Mr. Gadget, he looks like the average robot around here: box-head, rectangle body, snake-like arms, lego-like hands, and rotating wheels. Mr. Gadget is 2 feet higher than me, and I'm ok with that (as long as he doesn't try to kill me). "Do not forget the orders in which your mother has given you, Ms. Bonni."

I smiled. "It's ok Mr. Gadget, I wont."
He gave a slight nod and went into my parents's room, probably to make the bed. I turn to Kathy, "So, where were we?"

"We were not doing home work together," she wiggled her instructions paper, "We were studying."

I rolled my eyes, "Yeah yeah, killjoy."

"You want killjoy, I'll give ya killjoy. Look:" she turned her MePad to face me and her, and she read the news: " 'Public News Update: Allegiance has now decided to add an extra hour to all school periods excluding free period until the end of March. Reasons being is Edunites have decided that education must take a higher goal, so that students may have a higher grade rate. If a success, then all students will take a 76,000 question test, which will decide a whole new grade rate. Thank you local citizens, for this has been a Public News Update by Allegiance.' " When Kathy finished talking, I gave a surprised face.

"What!? Th-they can't just do that!"

"Actually, they can," I turned around to see Mr. Gadget with a blanket sheet in his arm, "And Allegiance has every right to. After all, if it wasn't for thier leadership then we wouldn't have home." He said this pointing out of my window with his free hand. I walked up to my window that he was standing at, and looked out side of my room. I had a great view, considering the fact that me and my parents (along with Mr. Gadget, of course) live on the 25th story of the apartment complex. At this time period, it is no time to be afraid of heights. I saw the dull, gray skies overhead, that seems to be like an actual sky, thousands and thousands of feet in the air. I looked out and saw the whole city that takes up the Thechity District. It goes off way into the distance, leaving a light gray skyline view in the distance.

I turned to Mr. Gadget, "Your are absolutely right, Mr. Gadget. Absolutely right."
