Damon (POV)

ugh, oh how I hate school! I thought as jumped on to the couch, I think I'll take a nap! Just as I lay down Elena and my stupid brother walked in.

"Damon! What do you think your doing!" asked Elena "It's bad enough you followed us here but coming to school? What are you up to?"

"Ugh! Does everything I do have to have a motive?" Elena pretended to think about it for a second.

"Hmm...YES! Now tell us why your here and why you stated school!"

"I missed my brother, that's why I'm here."

"HA! We all know that's not true!" Stefan butted in, I guess he is right I wouldn't really ever miss him!

"It's true" I insisted.

"Okay, then why have you, suddenly decided to start school? It was the only place that we could ever get away from you! It was the only thing you hadn't ruined yet!" I flinched under her hurtful words, was it so hard to believe that I changed? hehe, of course I haven't changed but that didn't mean it hurt any less!

"Elena, I never knew you were capable of saying such hurtful things!" I smiled up at her "I was intrigued" I answer but they still looked confused so I elaborated, "I was intrigued because Stefan seems to love it, God knows why, but I wanted to know what is so great about it and he somehow found happiness there and you guys seem to have so much fun there too! So I wanted to...experiment...and have some fun" I smiled at them and Elena huffed and walked off, with my brother following behind her0 like a puppy, sending me a disapproving frown. I looked up at the clock, damn it's almost 7 I have to go meet that girl...what's her name? Umm...Zee? she wanted to get her homework over and done with, I could careless about school but I didn't mind hanging out with her she...amuses me! I smirked at the thought.

Zia (POV)

"DARCY SOMEONES HERE FOR YOU!" Dan screamed from the bottom of the stairs.

"OKAY! I'M COMING!" I screamed back, you see this is how we communicate in our house, we don't walk the few extra step to each others rooms, we're too lazy, so we scream instead, even though we don't really need to do that. I ran down the stairs and saw an uncomfortable Damon standing at the door, with Dan just looking at him, once I came down both of them turned their eyes to me, Damon looked relived where as Dan raised an eyebrow, as if to say 'who the heck is this?' "Dan, this is Damon, Damon this is Dan, we have to finish our art homework!" I smiled brightly, answering his question.

"Not here" he replied with an equally bright smile.

"Why?" I whined like a five year old.

"Don't Whine Darcy, it is not attractive and you know why" and I did know why, Damon was a vampire and Dan didn't want to invite him in, I don't think Damon realised what Dan was yet. Dan sisn't want him to come into the house because he was WAY protective over everyone that lived and worked in his mansion, including the kitchen help! He felt that if someone is going to live or work under his roof he has some sort of responsibility towards them, everyone that worked or lived in the mansion is human and they all know about what we are, their families have worked for Dan for hundreds of years and they were all VERY loyal to him and grateful!

"But where are we meant to go?" I pouted, but it didn't work.

"I know you'll think of something!" he patted my head, So patronizing! As he walked away.

"Fine" I huffed "Sorry Damon, wait a second, I'll grab my things and we'll go somewhere."

"Okay!" he replied. I ran up the stairs and collected my sketch book and a few other bits and bobs before running outside and getting into Damon's black Ferrari (Pik on the side!=D). "So where to?" he asked as I got in.

"Hmm..." I thought about it for a second "I got nothing!" I exclaimed "Sometimes I hate Dan!"

"Okay" He chuckled "How about my place?" He asked as if it was the most obvious of solutions.

"Sure why not?" I shrugged.

"Okay, you might want to put your seat belt on!" he said as the car purred to life, dude I think I just had a car orgasm! If that's possible.

"You worry too much!" with that he drove off as fast as he could, wooohoooo! Faster, Faster! He kept his eys on me while he sped up, to see if he got a reaction but I just smiled at him. He shook his head and chuckled before he looked back at the road.
