It was around 10:00pm & I just got off the phone with Pete. Peter was still up because I wanted him to talk to his dad. "Mommy your phone keeps going off"

"Can you check & read?"

"These words are bad"

"From whom?"

"Rachie" as soon as he said that I knew. The last person to give birth was Rachael & I guess it was now. I called a babysitter, thank god one was still up, I'm going to need to pay her double. When I got to the hospital I found Rachael's room & sat with her. "Mandi I forgot what this felt like"

"Like shit, like a knife stabbing you"

"Yeah I can feel it" she squeezed her eyes shut & held her breath. Contractions, possibly the worst part of pregnancy. The doctor said I could stay in because I was her sister in law. When it was time she held my hand tightly & pushed. After four pushes Ethan David came out. He looked like his mom more than his dad. "Hello Ethan David Stump" she smiled at him. Austin wobbled into the room ten minutes later. "Brubber?"

"Ask Aunt Mandi to help you up here" he looked at me with the puppy dog face. I couldn't deny it so I helped him up & watched his face glow with happiness as he saw Ethan. Pete called again & I didn't want to answer but I had to. "Hey Pete you okay?"

"Well we are currently doing meet & greets & a fan asked to talk to you"

"Put em on the phone" I heard some shuffling around & finally a voice came on the phone.

"Hello Mandi! I remember commenting on a picture Pete posted of you before you were even engaged & I said 'if you don't propose I will' & you commented back to me saying 'someone's man enough to do it' & it made my entire life because you are such an inspiration to people"

"Hello doll! Thank you so much! I'm happy to hear that I'm helping people without knowing & also I remember that comment, still my favorite comment ever"

"I love you so much!"

"I love you too! Stay strong honey" there was more shuffling then I heard Pete.

"So what's going on?"

"Rachael gave birth"

"PATRICK YOUR WIFE GAVE BIRTH" I heard Patrick get up. "WHAT THE FUCK? WHAT DO YOU MEAN?" I was now obviously on speaker.

"I mean she gave birth"

"Can I talk to her?"

"Meh" I handed the phone to her. They talked for a good 8 minutes until Patrick had to go. 3 more weeks & they came home. I gave my attention back to Rachael & Austin. Austin was getting tired & Rachael was too far from Ethan's bed to put him in there. "Rachael, I got Austin tonight no worries" I picked Ethan up & put him in the crib. I hugged her & took Austin. I then drove to Taylor's house. "Tay! I'll babysit Mal & Braydon if you want, night off" she smiled & nodded. I don't think any of them realized I was doing this to get my mind off Pete.

"Mandi you are a life saver. Here is all the stuff they need & thank you so much" she hugged me & I looked inside to see a half naked Brendon in the living room.

"Use protection brennieboy"

"Hahaha very funny" I laughed & went home. Dallons car was in my drive way. I went inside & saw Dallon on my couch. "Hey bro"

"Sis I payed the babysitter with my money & I put your kids to sleep"

"Why?"

"Because you miss Pete. You need a break but instead you're giving you're friends breaks"

"I need to think about something other than Pete"

"I slept all day so I got every kid tonight"

"All five?"

"Yes ma'am" I gave him a thumbs up & went upstairs. This empty bed was making me sick. Pete come home soon.
