Lucario's Will

Meet the Team

It is 2 p.m and John's laying on the couch, watching a Pokemon Battle between Cynthia and one of the Elite Four. Lucario is on the other couch, laying down also, munching on some pokemon food. Lucario is barely in his Pokeball because John likes to be with Lucario a lot, and not in his Pokeball. His other pokemon, however, are just chilling in their pokeballs, in John's backpack.

"Johnathan, where are you honey?" his mom calling out.

"I'm in the living room mom watching some T.V, what's up?" John saying back.

"It's like 2 p.m, you should be outside, get some fresh air dear! Don't just sit in front of the T.V all day!"

"Alright alright mom, I do need to train my pokemon, I'm battling Jenny later today... it's gonna be so intense! Come on Lucario!" John picks up his backpack and sprints outside with Lucario. 

John's standing in the middle of his backyard, along with Lucario. He tells Lucario that he's gonna be training against his own Pokemon. "You ready Lucario, do your best!" says John with enthusiasm. "Reh Reh! (I sure will!)". John sends out one of his Pokemon on the other side of the field. "Okay Lopunny, I need your help!" A flash rises from the Pokeball, and Lopunny stands there with a battle stance ready. "Lopunny La!" (You again, my darling Luccy *winks*). Lucario smirks and rolls his eyes, he's not gonna be distracted from Lopunny's charm. Lopunny is attracted to John's Lucario, and Lopunny playfully tries to get with Lucario, but both being John's pokemon, Lucario knows he can't do anything like that to Johns pokemon. John though, he is not aware of anything because he does not understand pokemon language.

"Alright you two, we're gonna be training for our battle between Jenny later on today. So give it your all alright!" John says, trying to encourage them. Lucario and Lopunny say yes in their language, and face each other to prepare for battle.

"Lucario, use Swords Dance!" John yells out. Lucario prepares a stance to enhance his attack power; energetic swords float around him.

"Okay Lopunny, use- Uh, Lopunny..? What's wrong?" John yells to Lopunny. Lopunny was looking at the ground with its fingers touching each other. "Lopunny Lop Lop (I don't want to fight Lucario though...)" Lopunny says, as it's still talking in its own language, John still confused. "Uhm, you don't wanna fight Lucario, is that it?" John yells out to Lopunny. It nods back. Lucario stares at Lopunny as it's still looking at the ground. He wondered why Lopunny didn't want to fight, but after a few seconds it came to him. He just let it go and sighed. "Okay Lopunny you can just sit out and watch, but make sure you observe out battle style so you can be prepared!" John says to Lopunny. Lopunny smiles and nods to John, walking to a picnic table and sitting down.

"It's okay Lucario" John says to Lucario, smiling. Lucario smiles back. "You can train with... Zangoose!" John takes Zangoose's pokeball out from his backpack. John looks at the pokeball, as he's having second thoughts, because after catching Zangoose, it didn't listen to his orders, but only sometimes, and with certain situations. Zangoose isn't really responsive to John, so John is really worried about Zangoose. "Okay, Zangoose, you got this today... Go Zangoose!" He throws the pokeball at the other side of the field. A beam of light rises from the pokeball and Zangoose stands.

"Okay Zangoose, we're gonna be training today for our fight with Jenny... so try your best against Lucario!" John says to Zangoose, but Zangoose just looks the other way like he's not listening. John sighs and goes on with training. "Alright Lucario, use Bone Rush!" yelling with command. Lucario creates a long bone made of pure energy, and runs to Zangoose. "Zangoose, dodge it!" John yells. Lucario hits Zangoose's chest with hard force, and it falls to the ground. "Zangoose, why didn't you dodge, you have to dodge when I tell you!" he says, yelling. Zangoose gets up and wipes off his shoulder of the dust. It charges up a slash and runs to Lucario with its claws out. "Zangoose, I didn't tell you to do that!" Zangoose viciously slashes Lucario, but just in time it blocked Zangoose's Slash, and he pushed it off of him. Zangoose looks over to Lopunny and winks, but Lopunny looks away from Zangoose. Zangoose laughs.

John sighs of relief and looks at Zangoose. He didn't know how to keep it control, it's always unleashing moves without John's command. John takes out Zangoose's pokeball and returns it. "Alright Zangoose, that's enough for today" he says, as Zangoose returns to it's pokeball. John looks at the pokeball with determination. He looks over to Lucario. "Don't worry Lucario, Zangoose is new to the team, so it's just getting used to us" John says, as Lucario walks up closer to John and puts his paw on John's shoulder. "Rah Reh Era (You got this, I know you do!)" Lucario says in it's language. Lopunny walks up to John and Lucario. "Lopunny Lop Lopun (Yeah, I agree with Lucario!)" Lopunny looks at Lucario and smiles. John smiles and nods his head "Thanks Lopunny... you too Lucario. I think we're done with training." John says, taking out Lopunny's pokeball and returning it. 

"Come on Lucario, let's walk around the neighborhood. Actually, let's jog for a little. Luxio needs some excercise too!" John takes out Luxio's pokeball and presses the button. Luxio's energy beams out from the pokeball and onto the sidewalk. Luxio stands and roars fiercely. Luxio is strong electric type pokemon who's very strong in battle. He's loyal to John and listens to everything he says. When he was a little Shinx, John raised him and trained him well. 

It was 4:35 p.m, John and his pokemon were still going on a jog around the neighborhood, but they were getting tired. Even though Lucario loves to run with John, he gets pretty tired.

"Alright guys let's go back, kinda tired now *laughs*" John says, laughing. Lucario and Luxio smile and follow John to his house.

Arriving home after a 15 minute walk, John sees a pink bike outside his house with a helmet on the handle. From looking at the bike, he knew who was at his house: Jenny! He smiles and quickly runs inside, along with his Lucario and Luxio.
