Lucario's Will

Trust

John, his mom, and Lucario finally got home after the battle. John and Lucario ran inside as her mom announced "Alright I'm gonna make dinner for us, I'll call when it's ready!". John nodded his head as Lucario and him walked to their room. John wanted to take a shower after a long day. He grabbed his bath towel and walked to the bathroom. Lucario quietly sat in its room as it was thinking about something. (If humans take showers... shouldn't Pokemon do showers too?) it thought to itself.

Lucario continued to sit on the bed, but it took out a photo book. It was filled with pictures with pictures of John and his family when he was young. Lucario flipped pages until he reached a page that had photos of John and Lucario. They were at a Ice Cream shop, John was holding a chocolate ice cream while Lucario was holding Vanilla. Lucario smiled as he flipped to the next page, it was a photo of John and Lucario when they were young, but Lucario was Riolu back then. They were swinging on the swing sets, laughing as they were being pushed by their friends, Jenny and Danny. Danny grew up to be a strong trainer, with lots of trust with his Pokemon. Lucario smiled again and closed the book, putting back the photo book on a shelf.

After a while, Lucario heard the bathroom door open, then shut. John came in fully dressed, holding his wet towel and underwear. He put it in his laundry basket. "Ah, nice and clean! It's good to feel like this.", John says. Lucario remembered having that shower thought earlier, and stood up. It walked over to John and poked him. John turned around. "Yeah, what's up Lucario?" John questions. "Rah Rah Ra Reh (I want to try the shower you always use!") Lucario saying, in its language as its pointing out its room toward the bathroom. John had a confused look on his face for a second, but understood. "You... want to use the.. bathroom?" John says as he walks toward the bathroom. Lucario and John walk into the bathroom, and Lucario points toward the bathtub, talking in its language. "Oh! You want to take a shower? Well.. you haven't ever taken a shower so... it's kinda new to you huh?" John says, walking to Lucario. He picks up a bottle of shampoo and shows it to Lucario. Lucario looks at the bottle with confusion. "Alright, so this here is called shampoo, it's the main item that keeps everybody's hair looking clean and smelling good!", John says, as he grabs the bar of soap. "And this here is soap, you scrub this all over your skin so your body can be all clean and feeling good!". Lucario smiled as he was handed the soap and shampoo. He looks at both of them as he holds them in both hands. "Here's what you do Lucario, first get your fur all wet, then use the shampoo and rub it all over yourself, then rinse yourself until all the soap is off. Next, use the soap and rub it all over yourself too" John says, as he helps Lucario get into the bathtub. Lucario looks at John as he smiles at it and nods. Lucario nods back. "If you need me, I'll be in our room. Remember to close the shower curtain!" John says. Lucario smiled and nods. John walks out the bathroom and closes the door.

Lucario took a deep breathe and closed the shower curtain. It turned on the water and set it to warm. The water was still coming from the bathtub faucet, so he pulled up a handle and the water came from the shower faucet. Lucario liked the feeling of having water fall on his fur. He rubbed himself as he was getting every body part all wet.

5 minutes later, Lucario had finished applying shampoo and soap on himself. Water still falling on his fur, it stood their for another couple seconds because it likes the feeling of the warm water. After enjoying the water, it finally turned off the water. It shook its whole body so it can dry itself, as water splattered everywhere in the bathtub. It opened the shower curtain and stepped out the bath tub. It smiled from loving the feeling of being clean, then it smelled its fur, and it smelled like roses! It loved the smell. Lucario opened the door and walked out. Lucario opened the door to its room and saw John laying on his bed, reading a magazine. John looked away from his magazine and saw Lucario. John stood up, looking amazed of Lucario. "Wow Lucario, your fur looks so good and clean! And your fur smells so good! How do you feel?" John questions it as its still holding Lucarios arm. Lucario raised its other arm. "Rah! (I feel great! Showers are a wonderful thing!)" It says as its smiling. John started to rub Lucarios fur, as he noticed it was still wet.

"You're still wet! You need to be dry after a shower, let me help you dry up!" John says, walking towards his closet to grab a towel.
