SHADOWS POV.
After me and Maria got away from the gang we got into the streets of the hedgehog kingdom. All the people started waving at me and greeted me, previously I never used to ever return the greetings but now I had to make a good impression on Maria that's why I waved back at them.
Marias POV.
I was a little shocked to see that shadow was this nice to his people. I always pictured him to be less social and look for the one and only girl. When I saw some girls in the corner of the street, waving at shadow and screaming "we love you shadow" my heart sank a little, but then I saw a little uneasiness in shady and he came a little closed to me, which led the girls in the corner glare at me. I chuckled a bit to make him feel comfortable and he looked at me with one of those amazing smiles that every girl would dream of. I sighed and turned away pretending to look at some houses so that I may hide my blush..
Shadows POV
When I saw Maria chuckle it was the most beautiful voice and seemed to soothe me t o. My hearts core, then I remembered my promise that I would never ever make her cry or ever take that happiness away from her. I looked at her at which she turned, I blushed a little.. Cause without realizing I was staring at her.
Normal POV
Both of them went into a shop with a name of vectors clothing. The best in town. Shadow opened the door for Maria and smirked "ladies first." Maria formed a little blush but replied in an audacious tone. "what a gentlemen" shadows eyes sparkled.. They went in the shop. It was filled with many different types of clothes, it was a big shop with a corner for ladies and another for men with their own changing rooms and mirrors in the front... Shadow impatiently rang the bell on the counter to which Maria said" stop it shady" in a commanding tone. "what I'm a customer, I demand my service" shadow grinned while Maria rolled her eyes. Just Then a green alligator (sorry I don't know if it's a crocodile or an alligator but u know what I mean) he had a golden chain around him.. Along with him was a black and golden striped bee with glasses on his forehead..
"why so impatient, people have work u know " the green alligator said in an annoyed tone..." yea people like me" shadow said in a slightly loud voice. The alligator saw shadow with wide eyes and then bent down on his knees. "I'm sorry for my tone prince shadow, what may vector be of service to u ur highness."
Vector said trembling a little... "oh please stand up." Maria said eyeing shadow. " yes stand up, we came here to look at ur clothes since u have the best of them in town..." shadow said with his foreheads crossed. "I'm flattered, ur majesty, I'll show u around the men's department while charmy here..." points at the bee who was staring at Maria with eyes wide open. "... Can show the young lady in the women's department." vector said in a royal tone. Before charmy could burst with excitement. Shadow slightly screamed no. To which Maria stared at him a little confused.
Shadow calmed down a little and spoke. "her safety has been entrusted to me, so I won't take any chances of leaving her alone." "why you two a couple. " charmy spoke with a little chuckle, Maria blushed while shadow got red with anger and he was about to use a chaos spear when Maria broke the silence. "let's go shady, let's buy my clothes then we will look through some for you" with a pleading tone. "sure anyways u didn't want to buy anything anyways" he spoke as eyed vector and charmy,at which vector slammed charmy on the head, shadow chuckled a little, "what's so funny shady" Maria asked a little confused. "nothing, let's go find you some clothes, then we'll go jewelry shopping if u want and then let's have some ice cream." shadow said smiling at Maria. Maria blushed a little and said "aww shady ur so sweet. I'd love to go there." shadow blushed and then he went silent while maria took out a few clothes and handed them to shadow while she went to change and see how she looked in all of them... "next time, I'm gonna take her on a date and never shopping." shadow mumbled to himself. "what was that shady." shadow panicked "umm nothing, I was thinking that we should get some ice cream before going jewellery shopping" shadow said breathing a sigh of relief. "sure I'm actually relieved I was craving for some ice cream, thanks alot shady"

After trying on a lot of clothes Maria finally chose some..after which shadow paid vector with a bag of gold coins while giving charms a death glare.. Which made charmy shrink a little....
