CHAPTER 8: THE ANNUAL Ball Part 1 Of 2

Normal POV
After the hedgehog trio had confessed their love to their loved ones they had been going on dates and having alot of fun together but they hadn't told their parent they were waiting for the right moment and thus it arrived.
THE ANNUAL BALL, which was always hosted by the hedgehog Kingdom and all the princes and princesses of all kingdoms were going to be attending it, it was a tradition that each of the prince and princesses should dance with those who they loved the most and to dance with them and kiss them in the end. Preparations had been going on for 5 days and now the night before the ball. Sonic, shadow and silver were in a room discussing their plans,while the girls were also talking.

With the boys.
"don't you think we've waited too much to ask the girls out. " silver said a little unsure." but how do we ask them.. " sonic said tensed.
" well we just go to them and then we just ask them,they are our girlfriends so I don't think they'll mind it." shadow said with a frank tone."no its not possible Z something doesn't feel right.... We can't just go to them and ask them for the ball, somethings missing." sonic said.
"ofcourse somethings missing you dopes" with that said two figures a pink hedgehog and green hedgehog rolled out of the curtains on the ground.
"SONIA MANIC.. WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE SPYING ON US" the older brothers said in an angry tone. "well we were just ummm... Hehe... It was her idea." points to Sonia.
"your such a baby sometimes manic you know that... Anyways yes we were saying on you sorry we just had to know what was going on with you and the girls amd I think you have all met your perfect matches though" Sonia said smiling. "thank you.. Atleast she was honest." sonic said eyeing manic. "hey bro Hehe it's not my fault chillax please I'm sorry." manic said holding his hands up.
"let's leave it for now, though what do you have in mind Sonia " shadow said breaking the fight between sonic and manic.
" well of course you all have been dating and all but for this special ball,hou have to ask them out in a very special way because this is their first try to being asked out." Sonia said "you know she's right let's do it, we'll help each other out let's see how about I go first OK." sonic said with a smirk on his face.
"yea sure make an example for us big bro." shadow said. Silver was now getting really nervous and shaky. "I don't think I'll be able to pull it off." silver said still trembling. "don't worry silver just follow my lead OK. Let me do first."...

With the girls.
" aww the ball is tomorrow and the guys haven't asked us to go to the ball together yet." Amy said with her head hanging down. "don't worry I'm sure they are gonna ask us today."Maria said eyeing the ring on her hand." oh silver is so shy, I don't think he'll be able to pull it off" blaze said. Then there was a knock on the door. "I'll get it" Maria said hastily getting up and seeing sonic "can I please borrow ames for some time."
Sonic said rubbing the back of his neck." sure, AMY SONIC IS HERE" Maria screamed the last part in a way that made Amy blush, she ran to the door and shoved Maria inside the room and closed the door. "let's go sonikku" Amy said still blushing a little.
Sonic saw her hair in front of her face and removed then from her face and cupped her face. "that's the beautiful face I'm always happy to see." sonic said in a loving way. "aww Thanks,, so where r we going," Amy said "you'll see, hold on tight" then sonic picked Amy bridal style and then ran to the top of the mountain which revealed a beautiful scenario around it.
The birds were chirping and the lush green grass swerved because of the wind. Sonic put Amy down. "here we are Amy no one." "wow this is amazing. " Amy said dazed of the beauty." now I'll say it. Ames will you be my partner for tonight's grand ball."
"OH GOSSH YESSS I WOULD LOVE TO, "Amy embraced sonic amd he happily returned it. Shadow and silver were watching them." wow he did make that look real easy." silver said. "he's the bro, now it's my turn."
Sonic and Amy left to get amys dress and sonics suit for the ball together holding hands.
Shadow went to the kingdom while silver spied on him. He was trying to find Maria. "owww, God this hurts." shadow quickly ran towards the kitchen where he had listened Marias voice. He rushed in and saw Maria, "are yiu okay Maria, what happened.?" shadow said concerned. "look shady my pinky got burned, while I was making breakfast for us." Maria said holding out her burned pinky. Shadow took her hand and kissed her pinky softly which made Marias face Crimson red. "there now it's gonna be okay" shadow said with a smirk. "uhh yes sure it will. Thanks shad" she hugged shadow and then shadow offered to help make breakfast with her. Shadow was playing with the batter of the pancakes and Maria was making the syrup and shadow was making the pancakes dough go in the air like pizza dough and it landed on his head. "hahaha, shady you shouldn't play with your breakfast like that." Maria said still chuckling.
"ahhh get me outta here. Stupid pancake. " Maria helped the pancake off of shadow and held it in her hands." thanks Maria and now...., *tickles Maria* thats for laughing at me"
"gahhhaahaha stop shad OK I'm sorry *pancake goes high in the air and lands on both th their heads* "gah now we're both stuck because of you" Maria said frowning a bit.
"atleast were together " shadow said as he leaned closer and kissed each other as there faces were both hidden in the pancakes dough." oh shady I love you." "I love you too, let's make this pancake and call it our Love pancake, how bout it". "I'd love that" maria said chuckling. They both made the breakfast and ate it and the last pancake they aka the love pancake they both fed each other.
The last part of the pancake was left. "it's mine" Maria said as she reached for but shadow got it before her.
And he put it half way in his mouth and mumbled. "if you want it come get it. Maria gladly agreed and they both kissed and ate half of that last pancake (it truly is a love pancake I'm crying tears of joy, back to the story.)
After they had kissed shadow got up and held Marias shoulder." I'm hoping that you don't have a date to the ball, eh" Maria shakes her head in negativity. "so would you like me to go there with you" shadow winked and Maria nodded excitedly. After that Maria went to get ready while shadow went towards silver and Sonic came there as well. "I saw the last part good job bro, *high Five.*" sonic said. "thanks sonic, now silver it's your turn you ready.?"
Silver started shaking his head violently and passed out. Sonic threw water on him after 5 min that he wouldn't wake up, after that silver regained consciousness, "what the heck silver, you can't even ask blaze out." shadow said growling. "it's not that, I just don't know how. What If she gets mad at me..." silver said nervously. "get yourself together man" sonic said. "she lives you and you love her what's wrong she won't get mad." shadow said. "OK I'm ready let's do it." ok let's get you some flowers and then you go Ask her OK. " shadow said." but what will I say" silver said confused. "ughhhhhh don't worry just read this board ok." will you go to the dance with me?" silver said. "that's it?" shadow said. "will you be able to do it." sonic said questiongly, "of course, I'm not that bad."
They went off to find blaze and found her out in the gardens of the kingdom reading a book of ancient history. "go we will keep cover, just go and say these words *points to board.* OK" sonic said.
"Alright" silver took a deep breath and went to blaze while shadow and sonic positioned themselves in the bushes behind blaze and started showing silver the board. "hey blaze" "oh hey silver"
"I was wondering umm whether umm you would go out on the dance with me, give roses oh umm I mean here *gives roses*" blaze eyed silver -_-and then she made a fireball and threw it behind her which made sonic and shadows tails catch fire. "ahhh fire" they both started running away towards the water. "umm don't hurt me *gulps*" "ohh silver I won't hurt you but this is my First time someone is asking me out and I want it to be special OK so please try harder next time OK". *smiles and goes away* "ugh I'm so stupid" just then shadow and sonic come to him with an ice pack on their tails. "she couldve said no, whyd she have to hurt us." sonic said and shadow nodded. "guys we need a better plan" silver said and they both nod still wincing in pain because of their burnt tails.
They walk off into the castle rooms, it's one hour before the ball starts and silver hasn't gotten successful with asking blaze out.
WITH THE GIRLS
Amy and Maria were talking about how Sonic and shadow had asked them out,while blaze was sad. "what's wrong blaze didn't silver ask you out yet.?" Maria said confused.
" well I can't say he didn't try but I don't think it's special enough..." blaze said in a sad tone. "don't worry blaze I know he loves you and he will come up with a great idea just you wait." amy said with a smile.. "Amy is right don't doubt him..." Maria agreed. "I guess ur both right I should wait for the right moment.
There was a knock on the door and Amy went to get it. When she opened it she saw sonic and shadow all ready in their tuxedos, sonic asked for amys hand and she wrapped it around his arm and they left. "huh who was it amy?" Maria said as she looked through the door seeing shadow hold out a rose. "for you my precious hedgehog." shadow said as he put the rose in Marias head. "thanks shady*hugs and kisses* shall we go" Maria smirked at all the lipstick on shadows lips,shw wiped it out with the tissue "we may now leave" Maria took one look towards blaze and then she followed shadow.
BLAZES POV
Both of them left because their boyfriends were actually romantic while mine was a sissy. Uggh... *tears fall down* 'I guess I'll have to go alone then' blaze thought and she was about to go out the door when she bumped into someone, it was a silvery white hedgehog we all know by the name of silver. They both fell on top of each other and were kissing. Blaze got up and settled her dress blushing madly while silver was still on the ground with a bouquet in his hands."are you okay silver "blaze said a little worried.
" I'm not okay, this is the best day of my life. Yea blazy well here it goes." silver spoke with alot of excitement. Silver used telekinesis to bring out a chocolate box and lifted the bouquet and said "blaze will you go to the ball with me as my date?" "what if I say no"
Blaze acted to be not interested. "then you won't get these chocolates and me."
"ok OK I'll go but because of the chocolates. Hehe" then blaze went up and kissed silver on the lips it was a passionate one, after wards they broke up panting and silver led his damsel to the ball floor.
