CHAPTER 5: The Dinner.

Sonics POV.
After I picked Amy up bridal style we went to the diner and I looked at my watch, it was 10 minutes to the reserved dinner we had planned and I was the first one there along with Amy.
"well I guess we are early"
Amy said breaking the silence. "well what would u expect with the fastest person in all of mobius." I said smirking a little. Amy blushed and just then I saw a familiar black hedgehog with red stripes on his body along with a yellow and white hedgehog.
"here they are.. " I said pointing towards them...
Blaze and Amy rushed towards each other and hugged and started talking and giggling while me and shadow walked towards each other." hello sonic. " silver said with one of his usual smiles.
" nice to see you again. Silver. So how was the date."
I asked in a teasing way. Silver blushed
"it wasn't half bad.. I actually had fun" a smile found its way to his face.
"silver the hedgehog, You had FUN... " I stared at him shocked and mouth wide.
"well there's a first time for everything." silver Said smiling and still blushing a little...
We kept talking until we saw shadow from far away with his arm over Maria who was waving her hands,while shadow was limping, me and silver both ran towards him.
Marias POV
It was so hard but I actually found the way to the diner with shadow limping along..
When I saw sonic and silver I waved at them to come help amd they both rushed towards me...
Normal POV
Silver and sonic reached silver and took him from Maria and laid him on the ground.. While blaze and Amy who were still talking saw shadow and came towards then and hugged Maria..
"what what.... Happened to him... " sonic said with a horrified face..
" well I was walking along the road and a carriage came at me with full force and shadow chaos controlled me away but in the process his arms and legs got injured.. I'm so sorry, he is hurt because of me " starts to cry.. While blaze and Amy pat her back to soothe her. Shadow tries to get up but pin surges within him so he speaks." stop crying Maria, if anything was to happen to you I would never forgive myself. "
" but it's my fault for not paying Attention to the road. Shads you are in so much pain because of me.. "
" it'll be over don't worry.... " shadow spoke in a soothing tone... Then he turned towards silver and sonic and nodded...
"you want us to do that." silver spoke shocked.
"leave it shadow you know it gives a lot of pain before relief, we can cancel the Dinner and go some other time. " sonic spoke with a concerned voice.
" do it" shadow yelled and they both shook their heads.
"what is he asking you both to do.. "Maria asked in a confused tone..
" well it's a healing ritual that any 2 of us can perform to heal a third one..but....." Silvers voice trailed off. "it gives a lot of pain in it as silver has to mould his body while I have to punch and kick bis pressure points which will give him so much hurt under pressure that he will heal." sonic continued..
"sonic, this is the best day of Marias life and I Do not plan on ruining it I made myself a promise that I would never make her happiness go away so I beg u do it.. " shadow spoke so only that sonic could hear...
" OK we will do it.... " everyone else yelped in confusion.." sonic you know the pain is almost unbearable and could result in a coma and shadows already in a lot of pain. "" nooo please sonic don't do it,I don't want to cause shady more pain and if he goes in a coma Ill never be able to forgive myself. "

Sonic looked towards silver and nods slowly and then they both look at shadow who smiles" don't worry Maria nothing will take me down. "
Then he nods towards his brothers.." Amy blaze I need you both to hold her tight if she comes near us she might get hurt... " blaze and Amy both hold Maria who gives a look of anger to both of them and starts struggling...

Marias POV
I was struggling to get out of my sisters grips and just then I saw shadows body lift up in the air, I gaped in horror" leave me they are gonna kill him, I won't let them Hurt my shady.. " i started to cry.. " don't worry Maria I will form a tornado around him so that you cant see him get hurt and also will muffle some of his screams.. " sonic said giving a concern look towards me and then nods towards Amy and blaze who nod back to him.. Then sonic starts running around shady.

NORMAL POV.
Sonics running causes some kind of whirlwind to form against shadow.silver starts to twist and turn his hands while you can hear someone kicking and beating and some muffled screaming noises.
Maria had stream of tears coming down her cheek. Amy and blaze had a concerned look on their face.
After a while sonic and silver stopped and shadow came into view and silver then gently laid him to the ground. And sonic and silver started panting. Maria rushed towards shadow while blaze and amy did for silver and sonic.
Maria's POV
I know now that I truly love him. He always protects me and when I am around him it makes me comfortable and secured I don't know what I will be able to do without him. *sees shadow opening his eyes* "hey why are you crying, I told you I would be back." I chuckled a bit "yea you are always right aren't you." "of course I am, I am the ultimate life form. " Maria hugged shadow and then spoke in his ears" don't you dare ever leave me again"
"I promise you I won't"
NORMAL POV

After a little while sonic broke the silence and said.
"ahhh were late for our dinner. " sonic held onto amy and rushed towards the diner while silver and blaze teleported there and shadow and Maria chaos controlled there.
" the names sonic the hedgehog, we had a reservation here for 830 I hope that we aren't too late"
Sonic said panting as he spoke. "don't worry handsome your reservation has not been cancelled yet. Follow me." said a purple and yellow coloured squirrel. Amy felt a little jealous that the receptionist was flirting with sonic but she called down and followed them to a table of six. All of them sat down and held onto the menus to decide their meals.
"your waiter will be arriving soon. " the receptionist said as she walked away winking at sonic who began blushing a little while Amy had become as red from anger.
After a while all of them had decided on their meals so they ordered. Amy got the sizzled spicy steak,while sonic got the hot chillidog pizza, shadow got a ringed beef, while Maria got an emerald spiced soup, silver got a sizzled to the bone crab while blaze had the fresh cut salmon (reminder she is a cat). After that the waiter went away while the gang started to talk away.

Sonic: so let's take this time we have to know about ourselves more.
Sonic folded his sleeves upwards revealing some scars. Amy: sonic what are those scars about.
Amy said with a concerned voice.
Sonic: ohh these I forgot about them, yea umm they are some scars from the past.
Sonic said with a fake smile and a little chuckle.
Shadow and silver looked at sonic with tears glistened in their eyes.
Maria: what's wrong shady.
Blaze: yea silver why do you look so depressed.
Silver and shadow: it's nothing.
Sonic: aww guys come on cheer up you know we don't have to talk about this and let's just forget the past.
Amy blaze and Maria started to get tears in their eyes.
Sonic: why are you girls crying.
Amy showed sonic her hand,which was also covered in some scars. Sonic became furious and confused at the same time.
Sonic: *yelling* who did this to you I swear when I find them I'm gonna rip their throat out.
Amy yelped back a little scared. Sonic calmed down.
Amy: don't be mad sonic it was done by robotnik to reveal one of my forms of my hammer. He electrocuted me till I began to change form and I was like this.
Sonic looked away so that he would hide his tears and anger. While the rest of them listened in silence.
Sonic: well as the soon to be king of the hedgehog Kingdom I was blessed with different attack forms too.. Which I could use to fight evil. But they had to take their time to reveal so I kept training. But once I opened my dark form and I was killed. During when I was in my dark form I began to electrocute myself and thus I was trying to force my forms to show which gave birth to my super dark form. But I haven't used it yet cause you know about how I had to die.
Everyone was listening including Amy who stepped forward and hugged sonic.
"everything is just alright."
"yes it is. "
Just then the waiter arrived and put the food down to which everyone started to eat and chit chat along after they finished their meal sonic paid for it and also put a nice tip for the waiter. As they were leaving Amy Gave the receptionist a death glare and a 'he is min' glare. Just then three people came out of the shadows and smoked the gang to which each and everyone fell unconscious. "Let's take em to the temple."
