The next morning when I woke up, I was in Chandler's embrace. I rolled over so I was facing him. I saw that his eyes were wide open. He kissed my forehead and said:

"Good morning sleeping beauty."

"How long have you been awake?" I ask.

"Only about two hours." He laughs.

"Oh..." I giggle.

I get up out of bed and put some clothes on. So does Chandler. Afterwards we call room service and get breakfast. I order the pancakes with bacon and eggs. And Chandler gets French toast with strawberries. When the food has arrived I grab my plate and sit down on the couch and start eating it. It tastes so good.

Once we finished breakfast, we took a walk down to the park. It was such a nice day. But what came after today was a little scary. Meeting our parents all over again but this time with no alcohol in their system. It's going to be the real them. Not the abusive them that gave Alicia that scar on the top of her head, and you think hurting their children would've made them stop drinking but no it didn't. I feel a tear slide down my face. Chandler stands behind me with his hands wrapped around my waist.

"You're being awfully quiet, is everything okay?" He asks me.

"Yeah everything's great..." I say, but my voice cracks there is no use trying to hide it now. Tears pour out of my eyes like a waterfall.

"Baby... What's wrong???" I can feel the sadness and worry in his eyes as I pull away from him and drag him to a bench where we sit and talk.

"My parents, they were so horrible to us and now they think they can just barge into our lives again... I didn't want to go to this stupid thing anyways, it was Alicia's idea she said 'we should hear them out' I don't want to and how can she be so forgiving when they beat us the way they did."

"That's just it baby, she can never forgive them for what they did the closest thing to that is giving them a chance to start over, I think you should go over there and show them what a beautiful strong woman you turned out to be."

"I guess you're right..."

"Come on, let's go check out of the hotel and get you back home."

When we got home Alicia was sitting on the couch she stood on her crutches and walked up to Chandler and I and gave us both a hug.

"I am so glad you're home!!!" She shouted. She grabbed my hand and pointed to the stairs and made a weird gesture with her eyebrows. I walked upstairs right behind Alicia. "I need you to help me pick out my outfit for tomorrow, but be quiet Greyson's still sleeping... I hope you don't mind that he stayed over again, we weren't doing it or anything, having him here has just helps with my anxiety. I've been having lots of bad dreams." She whispers.

"No I don't mind at all. Just no doing it while I'm here."

"Kayla, you know me, I don't want to do that yet we haven't really been dating that long maybe for our one year but not yet." She said.

"I have to wait 5 more months." Greyson whined he got out of bed and wrapped his arms around Alicia's waist and kissed her on the cheek.

"Yes, yes you do." Alicia replied as she pulled away from Greyson's embrace and passionately kissed him.

"So Kayla about my outfit, I was thinking something cute but professional, preferably a dress. I want something that says 'I am one of the best daughters you could've asked for and even though you screwed up I still turned out pretty good with no help from you'"

"Harsh much" I sass. I walk to the closet and pick out Alicia's high low white lace dress. I've always loved that dress on her. The color contrasted with her sun kissed skin and the lace top showcased her beautiful collar bone. "Definitely this one." I add

"Thanks little sis." She says as she pats me on the head. "Oh and Kayla I had a few ideas on what you should wear." She points to my room, I walk in. On my bed lays three of my favorite dresses. My mid sleeve navy blue pleated dress, my white high low dress with the brown braided belt and my lavender flowy strapless dress. I chose the lavender one and decide to wear it with my white flats. Alicia knocks on my door. "Spill the juicy details little sis. How was it? Did you guys you know?"

"It was amazing that's all I'm saying..." I say and I grin at Alicia. She giggles then goes back into the room. I have no idea how Alicia's so put together right now, God knows I'm not.
