Alex's POV:
As I walked to the check-out in Ikea all I could think was 'Did I really just spend three hours wih R5??? Was Ross really flirting with me?? Did Ross seriously ask me out on a date???????'
Once I got to the check-out, after I got lost due to my brain wandering thinking of everything that happened today, I quickly found my parents.
"Hey mom, Hey dad" I said as I walked up to them.
"Hi sweetie" they both said. "Did you have fun?" my mom asked.
I could feel my cheeks turning a light pink just thinking about the last few hours, "Yeah, it was awesome."
"Really? And what made it so awesome?" my mom said. "I hope this doesn't have anything to do with a boy." my over-protective dad said.
"Wellll....you know that band I like, R5?" they both nodded, "I kinda ran into them and I just spent the last three hours with them and that's not even the best part."
"Well, what could make that any better?" Mom asked.
"Ross kinda maybe sorta asked my out on a date." I said smiling and playing with the hem of my shirt.
My mom smiled and exclaimed, "That's amazing sweetie!" While on the other hand my dad said, "Nope, no dating!"
I looked at him with the best puppy dog face I could manage and wrapped my arms around him as we walked to our car, "Pleaseeeeeeeee daddy"
"Ok, I guess so, but I want to meet him before you go." Yes! I knew he would cave, perks of being the only daughter!
During the drive home I put my headphones on and listened to music, once we pulled in the driveway I helped my parents bring their many purchases into the house. We ate pizza that we picked up on our way home.
Once I finished eating I took a shower, and went into my room (my bathroom is conjoined to my room) and changed into a t-shirt and gray sweatpants, not like I'm going to be seeing anyone tonight. I took out my laptop and went on YouTube, listening to anything and everything I could. In the middle of Catch My Breath by Kelly Clarkson my phone beeped. It was a text from an unknown number. (text convo):
??: Hey Alex, it's Ross
me: Hey Ross
Ross: What's up??
me: nothing much...just listening to music..u?
Ross: nothing really...what are you listening to?
me: anything and everything I can
Ross: music junkie??
me: You could say that haha
Ross: haha So..umm...about that date...are you free tomorrow??
me: Yeah, what time?
Ross: Like 12:30ish??
me: Sounds good :)
Ross: Oh and what's your address?? (So I can pick you up tomorrow..not because I'm a creepy stalker)
me: haha 126 Oakridge Av. (A/N That is just a random address I put!!!!) and yeah you look like you could be a creepy stalker ;)
Ross: Ok and Thanks I've always wanted to be compared to a creepy stalker *Note the sarcasm*
me: haha anytime...and I better go...see you tomorrow :)
Ross: Ok, bye
me: bye
Ross' POV:
After talking to Alex I was a lot less nervous than earlier, she is really funny and so easy to talk to. "Hello...Earth to Ross!"
"What? Oh hey Ryland. When did you get here?"
"A few minutes ago...you zoned out. Where you thinking about Alex?" He said trying to mock me.
"What...no...I was thinking about....ok I got nothin'" I said putting my head down in shame. Ry just laughed at me!
"I better go to bed so I will be ready for my date with Alex tomorrow." I said crawling into bed and pulling the covers over me.
"Ok, night bro." Ryland said getting in his bed and turning the lights out.
"Night bro." Man, I hope I fall asleep soon, the sooner I sleep the sooner I get to see Alex.
When I woke up I checked my phone: 10:00. I jumped up and ran to the bathroom, just my luck, Riker was in the shower, one of the many joys of sharing a bathroom with your three brothers. I started banging on the door, "Riker hurry up, I need to shower!" "Sorry bro I just got in, you snooze you lose!" He yelled back. Just as I turned around to go back in my room Rydel was walking out of her bathroom, "Rydel, can I use your shower?" I begged. "Why?" "Because I have my date with Alex and I really need to shower." I saw a smile creep on her face, "Ok...just don't...mess with anything" "No prob...thanks sis" I yelled already running into the bathroom. Once I was done I changed into jeans with my white shirt with blue and pink stripes. I brushed my hair and made my way downstairs.
After breakfast and I was ready to go it was 12:15, just enough time to make it to Alex's. I got the keys and got into Riker's car, I begged him for an hour to let me use it, when I pulled up to Alex's house I turned the car off and went up to the door and she looked beautiful. (Pic of Alex's outfit is on the side bar).
Alex's POV:
I went to get the door and saw Ross standing there, looking as amazing as always I might add.
"Hey" I said.
"Hey"
"Alex, honey whose at the door?" My mom called from the kitchen.
"Ross." I said back.
"Oh, I want to meet him." my mom said.
I turned back to Ross, "Do you want to come in for a minute?"
"Sure" he said. We walked into the kitchen where my dad was reading the newspaper and my mom was making lunch for them.
"Mom, dad this is Ross. Ross this is my mom and dad."
"Hi, it's nice to meet you." they said.
"You too Mr. and Mrs..."
"Parker, but call us Carol and Steve." My mom said.
"Well, we better get going, right Ross" I said trying to get him away from my parents before they do something embarrassing like pull out the baby pictures and ruin any chance I have with Ross.
"I'm ready if you are."
"Yup, bye mom, bye dad." I said giving them a quick hug.
"Bye Mr. and Mrs. Parker. It was nice meeting you." He said going to shake their hands.
"You too and Ross seriously call us Carol and Steve." My mom said giving him a hug, Ross nodded and shook hands with my dad. When we got to Ross' car he opened my door and closed it behind me before going to his side and getting in. As we started driving I asked, "So, where are we going?" He smirked at me, "It's a surprise" I rolled my eyes, "Ugh, that's not fair!" "How is it not fair." "I don't know..it just isn't" After about 5 seconds passed we both busted out laughing.
