Chapter 21: Everything fell into place

Wesley’s POV:

“I’m only kidding.” Drew said to me happily and I see him happily wrap his arms around Heather. I thought he choose Angie?

“Can someone please explain to me what’s going on?” I asked.

Kory comes up to my face with a camera pointing at me.

“You were making Drew act like a Jerk to me.” Heather said with one eyebrow up.

“Heather like me this whole time.” he smirked. “But then again I am irresistible.” he said looking down at Heather and she just rolled her eyes at him.

“Just to be clear I saw this coming a long time ago.” Rexx said.

“So did I!” My mom exclaimed happily to Rexx and they went into their little world.

I looked over at Keaton. “Were you part of this?” I asked and he simply nodded.

wow I’m so confused. But then again everyone is happy so I went to the kitchen and got myself a soda.

Drew’s POV:

When Wes into the kitchen Keaton followed him to explain everything. Everyone was just talking and hanging out. And as for me? I decided to take Heather to ask to be my girlfriend and hopefully this time she would yes.

I grabbed her hand and started walking towards the backyard. She looked at me confused and simple nodded my head at her and she did not question anything.

I then took her by the tree where she would always hide from me when we were younger.

I grabbed both of her hands and looked her in her eyes. I wanted to ask her now. But Heather had something else planned. She sat down crossed legged. I did the same and she pulled her arms back. What’s she doing?

So now we're sitting crossed legged across of each other. I open my mouth to say something she then put a finger up as telling me not to speak. I closed my mouth and waited until she spoke.

“The day we picked you up from the airport it may seemed weird that I didn’t yell when you hugged me. But that moment I was actually enjoying your arms around me.” Heather confessed.

“Also when we went to the beach and Dillion spoke to me and you and Wes cock blocked. Then later that day you held me in the car. I enjoyed that.” she said.

I then realized she was confessing everything she was feeling since I got here. I decided to do the same.

“When I saw Dillion talking to you I wanted to punch his face thinking you’d might give him a chance.” I said.

I expected a reply. But instead she said another confession.

“The day we came back from the beach and I bought yoohoo chocolate milk and you cracked a joke about making out. I actually thought about how good it feel to make out with you.” she said blushing a little.

“That same day when you saved the little girl from getting ran over I knew then I was in love with the right girl.” I told her looking into her eyes. She blushed even more.

“When I left to camp I was actually happy I was going to see. You kept bugging me.” she then said truthfully with no hint of joking.

“When I found out you were going to camp I was bummed out because I wanted to spend more time with you.” I told her.

“Nathan was my first friend.” she said.

“I got jealous when you introduced Nathan during facetime to Wes.” I said truthfully.

“When you replied to Angie’s tweet I was annoyed not because I didn’t like her because she liked you.” she said.

“Even though Kenny is my bro. I got annoyed when he called you ‘his boo thang’” I told her.

“I felt like a slut when you didn’t believe me when I told you I didn’t sleep with Nathan.” she told me.

“I didn’t think you were a slut. I was mad when I saw you in bed with Nathan. I’d rather have it be me.” I told her.

“When you stood up for me in front of Angie. I appreciated it.” she said.

“When I kissed you that day it felt so right.” I told her.

“I-” she went to keep talking.

“Heather stop confessing everything.” I told her.

“Huh?” she looked confused.

“I can’t wait any longer.” I told her and grabbed her hands.

“Heather, will you be my girlfriend?” I told her looking into her eyes.

She leaped forward and gave me a kiss. I smiled and felt her smiling against my lips.

“I take that as a yes?” I said with my lips against hers.

“Of course you fool.” she said and kissed me once more.

When we pulled away. I grabbed my phone and tweeted the picture of our first date when we went roller skating.

“My beautiful girlfriend Heather.” I tweeted with our picture.

“Who knew hate can become into in love?” Heather said smiling.

“You love me?” I asked her excited.

“Of course.” she said smiling.

“Be by my side for every concert?” I asked her.

“Follow at least three fans a week?” she said.

“Anything for you.” I told her.

“Come on love birds were going to the beach!” Wes shouted and I got up and held Heathers hand.

First time going to the beach with my girlfriend. Nothing can kill my mood as long as Heather is by my side.
