"Laken Diamond." Blair whispered to herself. Ever since she saw him that day at the store he has been on her mind all day long. Blair walks down the sidewalk toward the small clothing store. All of a sudden, some people are yelling and standing in the middle of the road. Curiously, Blair tries to see what they are looking at. As soon as she gets close to the crowd she sees what they are talking about. Almost 100 head of cows are heading down main street.

"Get out of the way!" Blair hears a voice coming from the cows. She strains her eyes looking for the voice.

"Get out of the way!" It gets louder.

"Mooove!" I yell as soon as I see Laken on a horse coming down the road like a train. Everyone moves out of the way just in time.

Laken spurs his horse one more time and Charlie has one more spurt of energy to make it in front of the stampeding herd. His legs are pumping, hooves pounding on the asphalt, sweat runs off of Laken's face and drops on the neck of Charlie.

"Fuck." Laken mumbles as he sees the crowd of people.

"Mooove!" He belts one last time. Everyone but that Blair girl moves. Charlie is a couple yards in front of the herd and making more room with every step. Laken whips the horse harder the girl still hasn't moved. In a rash move Laken lets go of the reins and he grabs Blair as soon as Charlie is next to her, throwing her behind himself. Her arms slid around his waist as he kicks Charlie again. Laken pulls the reins back as soon as he has enough room between the cows and his horse and turns Charlie and heads directly to the front cow.

Blair's heart is pumping, her whole body shaking against Laken's. He goes faster towards the stampeding cows. The leading bull is yards away from the herd and from the charging horse.

"Here!" Laken yells and gives the reins to Blair. Blair grabs them not knowing what to do. Laken flips his right leg across the horse and waits until the bull is close enough.

Blair lets out a scream when Laken jumps off the horse and on to the bulls head bring the bull crashing down stopping the stampede.

The bull's head and Laken's body make contact with the asphalt. Laken is trampled by the half ton bull. Blair jumps off the horse and goes to a bloodied Laken. The bull has disappeared. Blair falls to her knees and gently lifts his head into her lap. She lightly moves his hair away from his face revealing where the road and his face had connected. She checks for a pulse.

"Call 9-1-1!" Blair yells. She found the pulse but he could have a broken bone due to the trampling.

Blair examines the rest of his body. She get help from someone to remove his shirt exposing his sculpted abs. She takes notice that he has some bruising on his ribs and lower stomach.

Laken groans a little, Blair cradles his cheek with her small hand.

The ambulance finally arrives when Laken's eyes flutter open.

"Why did he do that?" Blair asks her grandma after she asks what happened.

"Laken is mysterious. But my guess is he was protecting people from getting hurt." Maggie explains.

"I wonder how his cows got out?"

"That bull of his is a mean SOB."

"Grandma! Such language!" Blair sarcastically acts like she said a bad word.

"I think we should take Laken dinner tonight." Maggie winks.

Blair blushes bright red.
