He Understands (Niam fanfic)

(A/N:I'm not sure if anyone is going to like this... But if u do comment and tell me and I will type the next part. I just don't really have any motivation to at the moment. :/ also the parts will start to become longer this is just a teaser for the story.)

He put the razor to his forearm close to the inside of his elbow before slowly dragging the blade across his skin. He bit his lip to keep from groaning in pain. Niall didn't want the others to know and that's one of the main reasons why he made the cuts so high on his arm. All he had to do was wear long sleeved shirts but he could still roll them up and not see the scars. He already felt bad enough he didn't need the guilt from the boys on his shoulders too. Before he could make the second cut, there was a knock on his door. Niall jumped and quickly hid the razor before pulling the sleeve of his shirt down and over the newly made cut. "Nialler...you in there?" the person asked as he knocked again. Niall got off of the bed and walked over to the door. He opened it and was face to face with Liam his best friend.

"What's up Liam?" he asked as he walked over to his bed to sit back down.

"We have a week off starting tomorrow. So I was thinking that maybe you would want to go somewhere with me for the break? Just so we could get a break from everything here and hang out like we use to," Liam looked over at Niall before going to sit down next to him on the bed. "So what do you think? Do you wanna go on a vacation with me Nialler?" Niall's thoughts were everywhere he wasn't actually sure if he wanted to go with Liam but he knew that he probably should. Liam looked at Niall with a hopeful smile on his face.

"Yeah I'll go with you Leeyumm." Liam laughed at the way Niall had said his name. Niall was starting to sound like a directioner and Liam thought it was cute.

"Ok I was thinking that maybe we could go to Canada. I mean I know it's just Canada but we had so much fun there last." Niall nodded not really caring where they would end up going on their little vacation getaway. He just wanted to have an actual break from all the things that were stressing him out and right then it was almost everything. He just wanted there to be no reporters, "fans" that hated him but loved the other four, and he just wanted to not try and be perfect for everyone for once.

"Li?... Do you want to watch a movie with me?" Niall asked wanting to spend time with his friend.

"Yeah. Sure. What movie do you have in mind Nialler?" Niall shrugged before getting up and getting his laptop.

"I don't know..." he laughed before an idea popped into his head. "Let's just find a movie on Netflix." He sat back down on the bed and turned on the laptop and looking through all the movie options. The two boys ended up picking the movie Finding Nemo. The movie started and right at the part where Nemo's mom and siblings are eaten by the big fish Niall hid his face using Liam's chest. "Oh my god!!! Noooooo!" Niall whisper yelled in terror as that scene of the movie progressed. Liam laughed at the Irish boys cuteness before tightly wrapping his arms around niall's waist. Niall leaned into his friend as the movie continued. He then shut off the laptop before setting on the carpeted floor of the room. Slowly he cuddled into Liam's side wrapping one arm around his torso and one of his legs around Liam's waist.

Sleep didnt come easily to Niall and that was partially because he had to many thoughts rushing through his mind. The main question in his mind was why do things start to go great and become positive and then crash down and turn shitty all over again? It was all to much for him to handle and he didnt like the feeling he had constantly that the world hated him and thats why he was the way he is. Everything just seemed so overwhelming and it was finally taking over his view on life. The tears started and he tried not to actually cry because he didnt want to wake Liam up and have him worry and then beg for Niall to tell him what was actually going on in his life at the moment.

He felt trapped and claustorphobic and Niall didnt want anyone else to feel the way he was. Niall didnt want people to know that the battle in his mind was making his life a living hell.
