Waste of DNA by decommissioning a simple fix

It had been a full two weeks after it was revealed that the Ruusan Reformations had a little loophole involved that would allow the Jedi to leave the Republic without having to deal with the threat of being traitors. Revana knew that Palpatine would try to claim that the Jedi were traitors, but after the revelation of the Ruusan Reformations and all they entailed, Palpatine's seat as Chancellor was called into question. The Reformation made it so that the Chancellor could not push legislation for emergency powers. Palpatine's political influence was being questioned not only by the Jedi, but the Clone Rights senators, the Separatists, and of course, Mandalore as a whole. Kamino was already positioning to be allowed into the Mandalorian Empire once again, as a supplier of children for those who wished it, as well as to revive extinct species of plants and animals. Revana, of course, would have to make a few changes when it came to Kamino, but this was being done in secret under the Chancellor's very nose.

Revana was currently sitting behind her desk in her apartment on Kamino, her belly growing heavier with hers and Cody's child. They were to have a daughter, and were already choosing names for her. Revana got up and waddled to the kitchen as Prime Minister Lama Su entered without permission. His beady eyes went right to her swelling belly. "Don't you even think about it, I will have my guard take you out before you can even inform Palpatine as to what is going on," Revana warned.

Revana crossed her arms over her chest as the Prime Minister blinked at her. She knew that he knew that the child was sired by a clone. "The clones shouldn't be able to procreate," Lama su said.

"Just because Jango shoots blanks doesn't mean they don't," Revana shot back, "And if you so much as code the rest to shoot blanks, I will make you wish you hadn't done so."

Lama Su glared at her "Don't even think about saying that shit line of they are Kaminoan property, if you do I will put on the mask of Revan pregnant or not, and let her deal with your sorry ass," Revana warned, "Now what can I help you with?"

"There is a batch that has birth defects that need to be decommissioned," Lama Su remarks

"Freshly decanted or still in the incubation tube?" Revana asked

"Freshly decanted," Lama Su replied.

Revana nods and makes herself a salad before heading to the nursery. Revana looked over each child, all of them having a cleft lip or a limb that didn't grow properly. "Easy fixes, Nala Se, please contact Mij and have him come down here, please."

Revana turns to Lama Su, a cleft lip can be repaired by rearranging the skin of the affected area and attaching the muscle with some nasal surgery if needed, an underdeveloped limb can be fixed with a cybernetic limb when they are older. They will need to have it grow with them." Revana pointed out as she noticed one with a clubfoot, "Clubfoot can be manipulated and stretching the foot into a more corrected position, followed by casting to hold it in place with a new cast as the clubfoot begins to correct itself, bracing, and if needed, surgery." Revana remarks.

Lama Su blinked as some of the others in the chamber looked at each other. Revana saw no reason why this batch should be decommissioned because of the fact that they had easily repaired issues. The last one however had spinal bifida which to her knowlage wasn't fixable but this one would have to be watched closely "Now Spinal Bifoda however, there is no cure meaning the best we can do is make sure they are comfortable, these things cannot be tracked by DNA, birth defects like this factor a lot of things that aren't genetic," Revana remarked.

"Then the one with Spinal Bifida should be decommissioned," Lama Su remarked.

"How about I decommission you?" Revana growled, "You are wasting Jango's DNA with how many you decommission."

When Mij entered the room he got right to work on the Spinal Bifida baby, closing up the wound and making sure there were no long lasting effects other than the usual "The babies with the Clift Lips, they will not be given growth stimulants until after the surgery," Mij said, "Surgery for Clift lip tends to happen between 3 to 8 months of standard age, freshly decanted its not a good idea,"

Jango Fett touched down on Kamino. He had gotten a call from Mij about several freshly decanted sons that had treatable birth defects, save for one that had spinal bifida. He found them in his old apartment with a pregnant Revana fretting and fussing over them. Jango chuckles, "I see you have your hands full."

"The others were healthy just not these boys, 5 have clift lip, one with a clubbed foot, and this one who is being a fussy butt, has bifida," Revana said.

The tubie quieted down at being called a fussy butt "Yes, I know you need to be birped," Revana said.

Jango, of course, secretly recorded the footage and sent it to Cody with a message, "She's already getting in her practice, what's your excuse?"

"Did you just record me and send it to Cody?" Revana asked with a knowing look.

Jango chuckled, "Your motherly instincts are already kicking in."

"Yes, well, Lama Su knows that Revana is pregnant with Cody's child," Mij said.

Jango froze at those words, "What do you mean he knows?"

"He waltzed right in here earlier while I was getting something to eat, and saw my belly and put two and two together to get fish," Revana remarked, "I threatened him with the Mask if he did anything stupid."

Revana put the tubie in his crib and moved to the chair to sit down. "Seriously, Lama Su is already in trouble with Shaak Ti about not informing her about the condition of these boys, and lying about how server their conditions were."

Jango nods as Hunter, Wrecker, Tech, and Crosshair enter, having just returned from the training floor. "Shh, your brothers are down for their naps, Wrecker," Revana said.

Wrecker nods and moves to the couch. "Many of these deviations would get them decommissioned," Tech remarked

"Because the Kaminoans are to damn lazy to fix something a simple as Clubbed foot or a clift lip." Mij remarks.

Revana nods in agreement on that. "All of those can easily be repaired, and no one will know, sadly, the bifida can't be fixed, but he will have a simple life."

Jango nods in agreement. "But my main concern is Lama Su knowing about your pregnancy, Revana, he will try something."

Revana holds up a hand as the others go to voice their opinions before pointing to the cribs.

Cody had just returned to the ship to head back to triple zero, to see a message waiting for him. He opens it to see that it is from Jango. She's getting her practice in. What's your excuse?'

Cody smiles at the holoimage of Revana holding a tubie in her arms. Cody's heart swelled at the look of her holding one of his freshly decanted brothers. He would have to make a trip to Kamino for fresh troops once they got debriefed. He couldn't wait to see his new siblings and his beloved Revana...
