Ten years after getting abducted from Earth, the Mystery Inc crew have drifted apart to their own careers. Shaggy and Scooby are now Jedis, Daphne is a bounty hunter, Fred is a trap salesman, and Velma is who knows where. Amidst this, the galaxy is on the brink of civil war. Under the leadership of a new threat, hundreds of systems threaten to secede from the Republic. Assassination attempts are made on now Senator Padmé Amidala, which exposes her decoy plot and puts her future and safety into jeopardy. Shaggy, Scooby, and the now Jedi apprentice Anakin Skywalker is assigned to protect her. Meanwhile, Obi-Wan Kenobi is assigned to investigate the assassination attempt.
