Wedding Day

We wanted a short engagement so we are getting married tomorrow in the middle of August. Since my daughter can walk she is going to be the prettiest flower girl. I found the most beautifully wedding dress Brittany picked it out it was all lace and strapless. We had everything planned so right now I was staying at Beckys so tomorrow I can just wake up and get ready. I was so excited I was up at 6:30 in the morning. I still had time before everything started so I decided to make breakfast. I got some bread, eggs, milk and bacon. I started making French toast and bacon. By the time I got done making food for all the girls it was 8:45. By now pretty much everyone was up. Eventually it was time I've been waiting for getting ready to marry my one and only. I got Braylin ready first. I curled her hair and wrapped it around a rose flower crown. She looked absolutely gorgeous with her bright teal dress and the flowers bringing out her big bright blue eyes. I was getting my makeup done which was just the normal but beautiful style. I had a natural smokey eye and just foundation with clear lip gloss. When I got done with my makeup I picked Braylin up and everyone got ready to go down the isle. Brantleys dad was walking me.
~Brantleys P.O.V~
I stood at the end of the isle with my groomsmen which consisted of my band member and my brother kolby as the best man. I was talking to the preacher who was my good friend willie Robinson. While we were talking the music started and everyone got quiet. I'm getting really nervous. "Your okay brother. Just relax she loves you she's not going to walk out on your ass." "Thanks kolbs. That really helps. Not!" I was really nervous now. The first person to walk out was my daughter and Bo Bryan. She looked so beautiful I was about to cry. But all I could do was smile my hardest. She was throwing rose petals and Bo had the ring boxes in an antler basket. I grabbed the rings and gave them to Willie. Braylin wanted me to hold her so I picked her up. "You really like being a father don't you?" "Yeah it's great. Even though she's not mine by blood she's mine in my heart. She is so beautiful and I can't wait to see what she looks like at 18." I told Willie. Okay I just freaked myself out on that one. By now most of the bridesmaids are already across from me and here comes the bride is playing. Everyone turns there heads to see my stunning wife. My knees are about to buckle and she can tell because her smile gets brighter. My dads crying because Oaklee is pretty much his daughter. He took her under his fatherly wing. When they got to the canopy thing I gave Braylin to my mom. "We gather her today to witness a beautiful marriage begin. These two have a bizarre story and I'd like to share it with you." I already know our story so I wasn't listening because honestly the speeches are really long and boring. I wasn't trying to be rude but I didn't want to yawn and become a jackass. "Brantley has vows that he would to to share to Oaklee." Here I go. " Oaklee you came into my life for a reason. I got to know how fast you can fall in love. I learned that being a father to a beautiful daughter is not only great but dangerous because I will-nope scratch that I am going to jail in the future." Everyone was laughing by now. "But the one true thing I love being called is called is your hero. That I saved you from the world. And I will love on you, fight for you and protect you. I will always be faithful, loving and caring."  When I looked up she was crying.
~Oaklees P.O.V~
By now I was a mess a real mess. I gathered myself and started to say my vows. "Brantley you are one of two things that I need in my life. And you becoming Braylin's dad is both of them. I know you might have trouble but I need to tell you and everyone else something. I have terminal cancer and I have a month left. I want you to love like its my last day okay. I want you to take care of my baby and then I want you to love more than me." I've never seen B cry but right now he's hysterical. "Baby look at me. Look at me Brantley Keith." He finally looked up I smiled at him. " I want you to forget about the bad things and live for the good things. I love you I really do. So I have a favor to ask you will you help me cross of my bucket list and marry me as the first one?" He nodded his head and looked at Willie. "You may kiss the bride." He grabbed me and kissed me like we were 17 again. I could hear everyone cheering and clapping. Finally Brantley let me go and we grabbed Braylin and Ran down the isle. The reception was at our house. And I went upstairs to change and get me and Braylin ready. Everyone wasn't showing up until around 1:30 and its 12:45 right now. I let Braylin's hair down and place the flower crown back on her head. I put on the strapless lace high low dress and straighten my long black hair. Within 30 minutes we were ready. Kolbs was already at the house with Dad and Momma. They are pretty much like my parents so I call them like they are. Me and momma set food out and talk about what we are going to do for our honeymoon. I show her my bucket list.

The last one made Momma cry. She looked at me and just smiled. I don't want to leave Brantley to take care of Braylin by himself. He needs another woman.
