When I woke up the next morning I went to the bathroom to put on my contacts. I put the first one in and was putting in the second when I heard a crash. I dropped the contact and it went down the sink drain. "no no no no no!" I repeated. I took my case and I didn't have any extra. Crap. What was I supposed to do! I grabbed my glasses and put them on. I put on my uniform and looked in the mirror. I put on some light makeup and took my wand and used the spell my hairdresser taught me so it would keep its colour. One I was finished I cleaned up my eyeliner and walked to the great hall. I sat down at the table next to Neville and Seamus. "By the way Riley, about yesterday, that speech was bloody amazing. I would be scared to death if someone said that to me. You showed him." Seamus said. I smiled. "Thanks Seamus." I tried to say but my voice sounded like a frog. "You feeling okay? You sound sick?" Neville asked. "No I'm fine, just losing My voice is all." I said counting to make it sound a bit better. "Here. Drink this." He said placing a cup I front of me. I raised my eyebrows to ask what it was as he chuckled. "It's boiled water and honey. It'll help I promise." I kept staring at him as I reached for the cup. I took a small sip and it was actually good. It helped my throat a lot too. I smiled as I finished eating and listened to their conversation. I laughed as Seamus's drink blew up in his face. I was leaning on Neville's shoulder and looked over to see Harry staring at me. He started standing up and was walking over to me. "I have to go. My guys and thanks." I whispered. "No problem." They said before saying a quick goodbye. I left the great hall and I was walking to the common room when a hand covered my mouth and pulled me into a dark room. They removed their hand but I couldn't see who it was. "What the hell!" I said frustrated. "Don't you dare think about leaving." They said sternly. "I would feel a lot better about this if I knew who you were." I said crossing my arms. Instead of turning on the lint they crashed their lips to mine and I stepped back as it felt perfect. "Harry." I whispered as he pulled away. "I'm so sorry Riley..." He said before leaving. He left. He left me standing in a dark hallway. He kissed me, said sorry, and left. I stood there gaping at what just happened. How could he do that? I was so mad now. I shook my head and came out from the corner. No more cute, innocent good girl Riley. Now L.A. Riley is back and she's gonna kick ass. After all, good girls are bad girls that haven't been caught. And this ones about to.
I went into my dorm, luckily no one was there, and went straight to my trunk. I threw clothes all over the floor until I found the perfect outfit for hogsmeade with Neville, Seamus, and Luna. It was my black leggings with a grey fitted t-shirt crop top that ended about 1.5 cm above my belly button. I put on a black knit cardigan and curled my hair. I realized that I never straitened it. Who cares anyway. I put in some mascara and nude eyeshadow and winged my eyeliner. Once I was done I smiled and grabbed my converse and my phone. I stuffed my phone in my bag so no one would see it. I was texting Witney earlier about what happened and she wanted me to send a photo of my "new look" so I did a kissy face with my cardigan half off my shoulder and sent it. I out away my phone and walked into the common room to see Neville, Seamus, Ron and Harry sitting around talking. "Ready to go?" I asked from the doorway. All four looked to me and dropped their mouths open. "Hello?" I said waving my hands. "Oh, um, Ya." Seamus said standing up with Neville. They said their goodbyes and we walked out. I looked behind me as I stepped out of the portrait hole to see Harry and Ron still staring. I smirked and walked out. "What's with the new look?" Neville asked as we reached outside. "Well, I decided that if Harry wanted to treat me like that and everyone thought I was a goody two shoes then I should change. I'm not going to live a double life and be a school girl in London when I'm a popular teenager in L.A. and so I decided to choose one personality and look who won!" I said smiling and throwing ,y arms up int he air. Neville laughed. "Well I personally think you look amazing either way but this one suits you." Seamus said in a thick Irish accent. "Thanks leprechaun." I said hitting him in the shoulder lightly. "piggy back ride?" He asked. My smile grew. "I thought you'd never ask." I said dramatically. I jumped onto his back and Neville laughed hysterically. "This is too good." He said breathlessly. "Well considering I think I'm taller than him then yes. Yes it is." I said smiling widely. I was genuinely happy with a real smile on my face. Not a fake drawn on smile. I real life, happy smile. Maybe this is who I was meant to be. Not Riley, the one who spends her time studying in the library and not doing anything dangerous, I am Riley, the one who isn't afraid to express her feelings and show a little muscle. God, if the people here knew what happens in L.A. That I was involved in then they would never look at me the same. We walked around and went into honey dukes to buy some candy. After we decided to go to the three broomsticks. I was eating my salad and talking to the boys when my phone vibrated in my purse. "I need to go to the ladies room." I said grabbing my purse and running over into a stall. I locked the door and took out my phone.
