Long Way Home (Michael)

We are walking down the boardwalk, holding hands, laughing at the stupidest things. She had multiple stuffed animals that I won for her and I got a huge pikachu that she won for me.

We kept on walking until we found my car and then we went in and started to leave the boardwalk.

She started telling me horrible jokes and I told her cheesy pick up lines. "Oh I got one!" I said. "There will be 7 planets left after I destroy urANUS!" We start dieing laughing. After we were done telling jokes and pickup lines we just sat in silence, good silence.

"I wish this day would never end and I just would never go home and I would never waste my time alone and we would just stay in this moment forever." She said.

I smiled and took her hand and kissed every single knuckle. I let go of her hand and made a sharp turn.

"What the hell Michael!" She said. "What are you doing?!"

I put in my Green Day CD and smiled. "We are taking the long way home."

We hit every red light and every time we stopped at a stop sign she would kiss me.

We drove past my old school. Memories of me and the boys singing and playing our guitars, hit me.

I stopped driving in the middle of nowhere. I turned off the headlights and opened the door for her. I took out a blanket from the back seat. I went to find the perfect spot, put down the blanket and we both laid down. I pulled her closer to me and kissed her neck. She smiled and turned around to face me.

"I love you Michael."

"I love you so much more."

And we just laid there and watched the stars.
