Rebekah turned home in a temper "what is with this mood of yours?" Elijah asked "I went to find Elena Elijah and I couldn't find her I asked every desk clerk in every hotel and I couldn't find her she must compelled him I'm sorry Elijah" Rebekah said "she doesn't want to be found by me or you as it seems" Elijah said "what about me I could try if you wish Elijah?" Klaus asked "I wish is for Elena to be left alone she obviously doesn't want to be found so leave her be" elijah said klaus nodded "thank you Rebekah and Niklaus" Elijah said both Rebekah and klaus nodded but klaus didn't listen he went off to find Elena.
But no such luck just like Rebekah. Meanwhile in the hotel Elena woke up to fighting in the street then she saw him Elijah it was morning her heart skipped a beat but she knew she couldn't go and see him she told klaus and Rebekah that she wouldn't go near him so she waited for him to leave Elijah finally left after what seemed like forever she got her bags and left the hotel room she paid the man at the desk and turned around to see none other than Elijah "Elijah" Elena said "Elena" Elijah said barley above a whisper "don't worry Elijah I'm just leaving like I said in the letter" elena said "don't leave Elena" Elijah said "but I have to I promised Rebekah and klaus that I wouldn't go near you Elijah" Elena said "they shouldn't have asked you to stay away from me I love you Elena Gilbert" Elijah said that floored her even though she knew how he felt about her she taught it was that Elijah just had feelings for her the next thing you know is that Elijah was kissing her she kissed back they eventually pulled apart "I love you too Elijah" Elena said "aw a happy ending" Elijah heard from behind him Elijah turned around "marcel" Elijah said in all but a sneer "and here I taught my plan had worked" marcel said "what plan" Elijah asked "I compelled the guy last night not Elena" marcel said "why?" Elena asked "do I could kill you today and take the one person that would help klaus with his hybrids making" marcel said "well he can't make anymore hybrids as I am a vampire" elena said whispering the last part
