Don't Let Go

*Third Person*

At around six, everyone started to get up. First was Alex and Brock of course, because of Alex's nightmare.

They woke up one by one. The kitchen was soon filled with sounds of laughter, happiness. Jonathon and Lea we're both out of the door first, heading to Mount Chiliad so Jonathon could get a head start of teaching Lea more tricks for the throwing knives.

Evan sat at the dining room table, eating breakfast. Tyler was running around yelling 'PUNCAKE!!' to wake everyone up. Brock was trying to help him, running around until he tripped over Tyler's shoes. Nogla was cooking the breakfast. Marie, Katy, Delaney, and Alex got dressed and ate. Craig was talking with Evan. This happened before the kitchen filled with laughter.

They soon all left towards Mount Chiliad. The sun was up, and it was a wonderful day to train. Once there, Tyler convinced Delaney to run down the hill and run back up, which she agreed. On one condition; he had to do it too, it was a race!

Alex and Brock practiced with the sub machine guns, shooting the targets. They helped each other with new tricks, and it was romantic to Alex.

Evan volunteered to show Marie how to shoot a RPG better, so they went out to find some crappy cars. They came back with a trailer full of stupid cars, and took RPG's to blow them up.

Lui taught Katy how to shoot a sniper rifle, and she soon got the hang of it. The shot at long distances, trying to hit the targets. Of course Lui was better, but he better watch out! Katy was good.

They trained for hours straight. It was pure perfection. Craig and David just threw grenades into the creek, watching the water rise out.

That was all fun. Until a bullet hit one member.

And no, it wasn't Lui nor Katy's bullet. This was a member of the Vexes, one that wasn't killed.

*Alex and Brock's PoV*

Just shooting with her is fun
I remember last night

She is so sweet
He is perfection to me

What the fuck?!
I scream and rush to his side...

My back is bleeding...
He bleeds uncontrollably...

I can't let go....

I hold onto Alex
I clutch onto him, telling him..

She repeats no over and over
Tears spill out of my eyes.

I'm stuck in the darkness, deciding which way to go
I'm stuck in my brain screaming...

The light is so intimidating
The crew rushes over

I hear familiar voices
We all scream for him

Alex whispers in my ear
I remind him what he told me last night

We can't let go, we are together...

I feel everyone around me
Lui helps him, and puts pressure on the wound

I open my eyes
I stare into his eyes

I smile
I smile back

We didn't let go...
