Beyond Rejection [ON HOLD]

Chapter-40

Taehyung was convinced by the youngers and family that this wasn't the right time to meet his parents, what more Soobin and others are scared is the wrath of Chanyeol-- if the elder knows what they have done-- there is a high chance that he might punish them badly and it was their luck if he let the matter go and finally decides to meet his son.

The petite omega was looking so peaceful, sleeping on reviving stone after consuming the moonflower, Yeonjun and Soobin are here to give the details about the dinner where they ended up getting caught and rounded up by the powerful wolves, Chanyeol gently lifts his mate, enough to pour the liquid medicine inside his mouth, Soobin helps him while doing so, once they are done-- all three walks out of the room, leaving the omega to sleep.

"He is looking much better than the first time we saved him" Yeonjun says, his hands clasped behind his back, "how did the dinner go ?" Both stiffen at the question, the elder of the two notices their expression, and frowns a little, "What happened?" He asks more sternly, "That-- Uncle" Soobin chews on his lower lip, brows furrowed in fear.

"We had to confess everything" after mustering a lot of courage Yeonjun replies, Chanyeol sighs, looking grieved, "we were outnumbered between the powerful wolves, Taehyung mate is even ready to hunt us down, but we calmed him down saying it wasn't the right time-- but he wants to meet you both" Soobin  said carefully.

Yeonjun glances at his boyfriend before turning his attention to Chanyeol, after pondering for a while, he says, "Uncle, even Taehyung Hyung has to learn to hide and control his powers, what I meant it--- we still don't know what he possess-- but I am sure that he can't see the future as he haven't got any visions but-- what if he possess the power to handle nature-- it was even hard for Soobin to handle his power- let alone Taehyung Hyung-- just because his wolf is not active doesn't mean he won't lose control over his emotions in the future--"

"I know Yeonjun, it's just the start of something we could never handle but-- do you think this is easy-- if anyone knows about Taehyung--- they are going to come after him, I am already guessing that Red Dusk Pack already knows about him-- they have been searching for him-- they never believed that Taehyung is dead-- imagine-- if everybody knows about him and comes after him" Chanyeol feared this would happen someday.

If packs align together to come after his son-- this world will end up in chaos. Before things can escalate, he has to find a way to stop it, and that is meeting Taehyung and teaching him about control over his powers, his wolf is very special. But he can't leave his mate here as well, although Chanyeol looked very strong outside, he was torn inside by the series of events that his family has to go through.

He missed his family, he almost lost them in the bad hands, he missed his son, he missed his mate, he missed the small things that have to be cherished as a family, and he missed everything that was stolen from him.

But he is calculating ahead about the consequences, which are stopping him from meeting his son.

On the other hand at the meeting hall at the Jeon Corporation,

Jungkook's cold aura has left everyone leaving the meeting in tears by the end, Yoongi was also worried about his brother's unusual behaviour when he heard about it, so he decides to meet his brother, "what is it Jungkook-ah? Why do you look so stressed" the elder asks.

"It's about Taehyung" he sighs, leaning back, "What happened to him?" Yoongi too heard about Taehyung's, "I got a message from Byun's this morning, they left a letter near the reception, it said they wanted to meet me at Red Dusk Pack"

"The Audacity" Yoongi scoffs, his eyes flickering to his brother in worry, "you are going to meet them?" Jungkook immediately shakes his head, "Hyung, don't be absurd. Why would I meet someone who is willing to harm my mate-- I was just wondering-- Why would they want to meet me?" Jungkook asks, "I can barge in anytime and crush them-- but the thing is they have someone in the pack helping them—otherwise, how would they know about Taehyung"

"And if they can approach you-- it's a matter of time, they can take Taehyung" Yoongi mutters, his voice withdrawn in the end, "those fairies are around him, and I trust them—and this weekend I promised my mate that we will work on his shifting, what if his powers show up after he shifts?" Jungkook has been thinking all the possible outcomes he can and he is very much worried about his mate.

"That's going to bring a lot of pain, Jungkook—he might break his bones in the process, it's easy when we are kids and Taehyung might have to go under treatment to fend his bones back or maybe he doesn't have to" Jungkook sighs, leaning back on the recliner chair, "I can't stop him from shifting-- he has to-- it's his right to be in his wolf form. Maybe we will work it out once that situation arises" The Trueblood says, looking at nothing.

"Can you handle the meeting's Hyung? I have to go pick up my mate, I promised him I will" Jungkook gets up from his chair and picks his car keys, "Alright, just be careful and I will visit the pack this weekend with Jimin, we have something to announce" Jungkook raises his brow in suspicion, but neverthless nods his head and leaves quickly. 

Once he reaches the university, he calls his mate to inform him of his arrival, Taehyung immediately replies, and within minutes he is opening the car door and sitting inside with a tired face, "Everything alright, baby?" Taehyung nods, making himself comfortable. 

"I have a class in the mortuary today, practicals and I threw up right after that—I just want to rest" The Omega rambles about his day, with a pout, his voice drained, "Jimin hyung too asked for outing along with girls but I don't have energy, so I had to decline" his pout intensifies,

"Just rest for today, love. you guys can go out later, and moreover, Jimin Hyung and Yoongi are coming this weekend-- you can meet him then" Jungkook says, slowly massaging his mate's head, Taehyung hums in delight, "Have those fairies told you anything about your parents?" He asks as he starts the car, "Nope" Taehyung shakes his head, "And yeah-- I forgot that I got this letter delivered to me-- I haven't opened it, but it was written that it is from Red Dusk Pack" he rummages through his bag and brings the red envelope out. 

"I got it too, They want to have meet in their pack" Jungkook admits, still driving, "In their dreams" Taehuyng scoffs and opens the letter to see what they had written. "They are trying too hard to meet me, they even wrote they are my grandparents and blah blah—they aren't that dumb to pull this stunt-- do they?" Taehyung frowns in disgust and anger, "They might thought of taking things through emotionally." Jungkook says, shaking his head, 

"I won't even let their shadow fall on you"
