Chapter-39

Ji-Hoon is hung upside down, blood dripping down from the tops of his hair, eyes barely opened, his body full of cruel wounds, a cruel remainder to never touch or seek what isn't his--

He was brutally beaten by Jungkook, the True Blood did not show an ounce of mercy as he hell bent on showing hell to Ji-Hoon who isn't ready to open his mouth---

"I--I will  te--tell eve-evrything" he coughed blood out, the guards who heard immediately informed Jungkook, in no time the trueblood is over there with his mate who insisted on coming as he wants to learn the truth and the trueblood obliged.

"If you feel uncomfortable by the gruesome behind the door, let me know, pup, yeah ?" Jungkook softly said, cupping his Omega's cheeks and caressing them, Taehyung gave him the most gentle and softest smile, "alright Alpha, I will"

When the door is open and Taehyung enters, he scrunches his nose at the smell of blood, Jungkook's face turns dark, his pheromones emitting a sharp dominant scent that even makes the guards flinch, the air thickens as Jungkook steps forward--

"Speak. Before I make you regret opening your mouth" he growls, voice dark and lethal, Taehyung clutches his hand tightly making him tone down his pheromones, Ji-Hoon is now sitting on the chair, tied, his eyes swollen, lips bursted, nose broken, he has this sharp pain in his brain, as said he was shown no mercy, he is flocked by the guards brutally.

"Red Dusk Pack" Jungkook frowns, "what ?" He asks, "they fou-found me when they came to kn-know that I have grudges with the Kim and Jeon packs, they off-offered me Tae-Taehyung" Jungkook chest rumbles with a possessive growl, "let him finish Alpha" Taehyung whisper, stopping from unleashing his power.

"Th-They want Tae-Taehyung, bu-but for th-that, you need to di-die" he coughs out blood, "The-They prom-promised to ma-make me Al-Alpha he-heir, bu-but I sa-saw thro-through them-- I di-didn't under--stood why the-they wanted Tae-Taehyung bu-but they kn-know some-something"

Jungkook snarls in bubbling anger as he steps forward into the pool of blood lying beneath Ji-Hoon, the Alpha flinches, "I-I don't kn-know any more tha-than that!" He shrieks, but Jungkook stops, Taehyung is here and he can't kill this bastard now!

The couple goes back, they explain everything to their family, "everything is tangled up" Taehyung murmurs, a deep frown on his face, "and it's all because of me" he adds in whisper, "I think-- it's something related to my brith? Luna said we are special but I don't know how" he voices out his dilemma.

"Special?" Hyung-Sik hums, with a deep frown, "I will investigate more into the Red Dusk--- I heard that they lost their only son-- I remember they came with a marriage proposal between me and their son, same with Namjoon, but we all rejected that proposal" the older Alpha says.

"Weird" Jungkook mumbles, "indeed" Taehyung nods, "don't worry about it for now, just focus on the upcoming dinner-- they might spill more information on this"

The weekend came faster than expected, and Taehyung couldn't help but pace around their bedroom, nervous and fear making his heart clench, Jungkook who has been observing his mate from morning couldn't help but get worried for him.

"Pup" he gently calls, halting his Omega, his eyes soften as he sees his beautiful mate frowning in distress, biting his soft pinkish lower lip, "pup" Jungkook calls again, firmer this time but still with a tinge of gentleness, he circles his arms around Taehyung's petite waist, pulling his head to his chest, "whatever it is-- we are going to face it together and I will be with you no matter what-- whatever truth that they are going to reveal-- I won't leave your side"

Taehyung's heart flutters and melts in the warm caress of his Alpha, "there is a part of me that felt betrayed by them" he hugs his mate tighter, pressing their bodies together, he never wanted to leave this safe haven, "I know baby" Jungkook whispers, pecking the golden locks of his Omega's, hugging his tighter, "but there must be a reason for that" Taehyung tilts his head up, to meet his Alpha's eyes.
