*Chloe's POV*
I finished getting ready and checked my reflection in my mirror and I liked how I looked. My blonde hair was tied up in a high ponytail, my make-up was lovely and light consisting of a light coloured foundation ,lipgloss and eyeliner with mascara to make my green eyes stand out. I ran downstairs and then out of the door and headed to Starbucks. When I reached there I walked inside and found my best friend Amy seated at a booth.
"Hey",I said when I sat down
"Hey Chloe",she smiled
We were talking for ten minutes when I felt a pair of arms slide around my waist. I turned round to be faced with JJ, my gorgeous boyfriend.
"Hey beautiful",he said lightly kissing my cheek
"Hey",I smiled
"You ready to go?"
"Where?",I questioned
"It's a surprise",he winked
I rolled my eyes but stood up, quickly said my goodbyes to Amy and followed him. Once we were outside, he laced his fingers with mine and we started walking. After walking for ten minutes we reached the park and we sat beneath a tree.
"Chloe",he began. "I have something I want to give you"
"Okay-",I trailed off not knowing what to say
He took my hand in his and took a box from his pocket.
"Chloe. Ever since I laid eyes on you. I knew you were the one for me. Your funny and you make me laugh. Your outgoing and the most prettiest girl ever. That is why I want to give you this",he said
Tears began to fill my eyes, he was just so sweet.
He took a ring from the box and slipped it on my finger. By now tears were slowly falling down my face; I was crying happy tears.
"Don't cry babe. I wanted to give you that. It's a promise ring. It's to show that I want you by my side every day. Hopefully we will get married one day. I love you chloe",he smiled looking into my eyes
"JJ, the ring is beautiful",I said whilst admiring it
It had I love you engraved in the middle of it and on each side was a C with a J joined together with a heart. It looked stunning.
"I love you too JJ",I smiled and with that his lips connected with mine.
