Amara's P.O.V

I was upstairs finishing getting dressed. Jai had told me to wear something casual, in the end I went for high waist pink shorts, a white vest top with OMG written in pink and a cardigan paired with my white converse. I checked my reflection in the mirror and thought I looked amazing. My brown hair was flowing down my back and I had my usual make-up on- foundation, eye shadow, mascara and lip paint.

"You ready?", Jai called

"Yeah, I'm just coming", I called back

I grabbed my bag, shoving my phone and lip paint inside. I ran downstairs to see Jai standing there looking gorgeous. He was wearing dark blue tight jeans, a white t-shirt, white converse and a beanie.

"You look beautiful", He smiled kissing my cheek.

"Thank you", I blushed "You look gorgeous"

"Thank you my lady", He replied in a British accent.

I giggled and he wrapped his arm around my shoulder. We made our way to the car and he opened the door for me. I smiled and climbed inside. He walked round to his side and climbed in, starting the engine. We pulled out of our driveway and headed down the road.

"So, where we going?", I asked hoping to get a clue out of him

"I'm not telling you", He smirked "It's a surprise"

I pouted.

"Oh babe, your so sweet when you do that", He said keeping his eyes on the road. I smiled and switched the radio on, instantly Heart Attack by Demi Lovato came blasting out of the speakers. After driving for a further twenty minutes, we arrived. I stepped out of the car with Jai behind me, he then put his hand over my eyes.

"It's a surprise", He reminded me

I felt him guiding me to where the surprise was. After walking for five minutes, we stopped. Jai removed his hand from my eyes and I gasped, there on a blanket was a picnic laid out with a single red rose in the middle. I noticed we were on the beach. I smiled, I loved hearing the waves crash against the shore.

"Jai, this is wonderful", I said sitting down

"That's not all", He smiled "I have another surprise for you.

What else could be a surprise? I wondered. Jai and I have been together for two whole years tonight and it has been amazing. He whistles and a husky pup came running towards us with something around it's neck. It ran over to me and sat down. I took the thing off it's neck and I gasped it was a ring hanging on a piece of ribbon which was tied gently and not tightly around the pup's neck. I turned to look beside me and noticed Jai had disappeared.

"Amara", Jai called

I turned to face the direction the voice came from and I saw him just a bit in front from where I was sitting. I got up, the pup following behind me and walked towards him. when I got there I was shocked. There written in the sand was 'Amara, Will you marry me' Tears began to fill my eyes as Jai took the ring from me. He got down on one knee and looked into my brown eyes.

"Amara, will you marry me?, He asked

"Yes!", I replied happily

He got up pulling me in a for a hug and kissing me lovingly.

"What about the dog?", I asked as we made our way back to where the picnic was set out.

"We can keep her. She's a present for you", He smiled

"She's a her?", I checked

"Yep"

"What we going to call her?" I asked

He shrugged, "It's up to you babe"

I thought for a moment "Cheeky", I said

"What?", Jai asked clearly confused to why I had just said cheeky

"We'll call her cheeky",  I repeated. She came running to me and licked my hand

"I think she likes that name", Jai laughed

I giggled before Jai pulled me closer to him.

"I love you", He whispered into my ear

"I love you too", I smiled

He returned the smile and placed another loving kiss on my lips.
