3 months is not along time to be dating, but if we are going to be honest I've been crushing on Ryan since day one. We have been inseparable since we were only 7, I took Ryan every where with me, he even vacationed with us in California for a week.
His family wasn't involved in his life as much as he'd like, he doesn't have to tell me for me to realize he has family issues. Ryan's sensitive when it comes to his family he tries to avoid the overall subject, I have only met his brother Tyler.
I remember the day I met Ryan, I was at school when 2 boys came up to me and were pushing me around. Ryan came up and socked the bigger one in the gut knocking him over, the boy groaned. Ryan looked at them both "I can kick both of your asses if you don't move along."
Both the boys left and he helped me up. "Thank you..." "No problem" he spits. "You know you shouldn't swear it's bad". He kinda laughed and kicked the wood chips, "yeah well my Mama lets me do what I want, hell I don't have to shower if I don't wanna."
I looked at him funny "why'd you wanna do that?" "Well I do shower, I'm just saying if I didn't want to I wouldn't have to." "My Mama would kick my butt"
"Yeah? Guess some parents are crazier then others" he smirks. "My Mama isn't crazy, she just doesn't want me to stink." "Yeah well, I don't have to go home, I can go any where I want and come back when I want."
That was the most he had ever talked about his family. "Well thats just crazy. Well whats your name boy?" I asked changing the subject. "Ryan, what's yours girl?"
"Ashley" I smile. "Nice to meet you Ashley " he holds out his hand and I shake it. "Can I call you Ash?" I laugh. "Ash sounds silly, thats what comes from camp fires!" "Ash it is!!" We both laugh.
That day he walked me home that day I introduced him to my family. "Mom, Dad this is Ryan he goes to my school."
"Nice to meet you Ryan, would you like to stay for dinner" my Mom smiles. "Yeah sure!"
Around 5 we had dinner, it was a disaster of a first impression. Not but 5 minutes into dinner Ryan dropped hot green beans on his lap and scream "oh bloody hell!" My Mom and Dads face turned red and they gave me an odd look, as if I was the one who swore!
I kicked Ryan, he looked up realizing what he had done. "I am so sorry!" He turned red. The rest of dinner was silent. Ryan left right after clean up. It took awhile for me to convince Mom and Dad he was a good kid eventually they came aeound.
Once my parents allowed Ryan back over he came over everyday we'd walk home together and play for hours, we'd often play on the swing in my backyard, there was only one swing at the time so we took turns pushing each other.
Tag was our favorite though, we got so competitive that I broke my arm while running after him!
For my 8th birthday Ryan got me a bunch of wood to build a tree house, man it took forever to build because my Dad was always working so it was up to me and Ryan but it was worth it.
