Carl's p.o.v

Devin was asleep on my lap again, shit man, that kid must never sleeps he mumbles something in a language I don't understand then he bolts and starts crying I slowly back up away from him, I'm not good in situations like these especially with kids, he turned around and was saying something in that language, it triggered something in my brain it was a language we learned at school French, I only remember a few words and I understand most, I got an A+ before the world went to shit, so I tried speaking it to Devin,
"Les tortues sont vert.(the turtles are green)"
He just looked at me as if he found a cure to the apocalypse
"Ouais, les tortues sont vert ( Ya, turtles are green)"
I didn't understand a fucking clue of what he said but I just nodded with a fake smile and said
"See ya Dev."
"Bye blue eyes." He said
"The names Carl." I called before I slammed the church door and walked outside.
I inhaled a deep breath and walked to the side of the building to see how for the walkers that Scarlet killed were, I looked and I couldn't see them, I walked further into the bush and saw them, they were about twenty feet of where I was standing before, something is off with that girl and I'm going to find out what it is.

They came back a few hours later, I saw Scarlet and cocked up my eyebrow she must been quick to find all that stuff, she doesn't look quick though, because the size of he thighs from claiming trees, she looks like she is stronger that faster, like Abraham, and unlike Glenn, I walked over to her willing to talk to her,
"I don't think we met properly, my name is Carl Grimes." I said
"I like blue eyes better, it suits you." She said while scooping up Shilo and started petting her.
"Well then, I'll just call you red, instead of Scarlet."
She just shrugged took a collar and a leash out of her bag and put them on Shilo
"May I ask how you got all that stuff." I asked
She tensed and started rubbing her right hand,
"Because the places with the most supplies are overrun." I said and cocked an eyebrow
This time she started hyperventilating, she grabbed my hand and we walked into the woods until she found a walker,
"Climb that tree blue eyes and watch." Red said
I quickly climbed the and observed very closely, she walked rights up to the walker and started pushing it around, the walker just walked around her, I gaped in awe that was impossible no one can be immune it's like being immune to Ebola its like impossible, then she grabbed the walker by the hair and smashed the head by a tree again and again and again until brains were splattered everywhere, she motioned me to come down, and simply took off her right biker glove and I saw bite mark scars, I looked up at her hoping she would explain,
"That was my mom who bit me, right after she bit me she fell and died for good." She explained "As a kid I was immune to the common cold, chicken pox, things it's almost impossible to be immune to, but I was, the only other person who knew about this was Marie, my old group leader felt like since I was immune I could go on runs all by myself," she looked up at me " I was only seven I could barely do addition properly and they thought I was a trained killer, so I stayed with that group until I was eleven and Devin was six , the camp got overrun because they thought that since they had my I could protect the whole group but they were wrong, but my sent could only disguise so many people, so I left with Devin and most of the supplies , we just started run into God knows where, and I've been alone ever since with Devin, we killed a few people on the way now that I found you guys I thought if I told you the exact same thing would happen as it did to Marie's group." She finished talking and looked up at me expecting me to say something I couldn't make a noise, she looked annoyed and grabbed the sleeve of my shirt and started blabbing something about Shilo, then I realized she was covering us so no one would suspect what we just spoke, right before we entered into the church she whispered into my ear I could feel her warm breath on my neck and she said "Tell no one."
I leaned in to her ear "Okay."
She shuddered and looked up at me then turned around and whipped her hair in my face, then stalked off into the church scooping up Shilo, I sighed maybe we could be friends maybe not.

The church had a warm feel to it, with candles everywhere and people laughing eating, it's the most relax we've been in weeks, even Scarlet and Devin were talking, I just grinned and leaned back and started tuning in to the conversation Scarlet was having about when this world turned to shit
"So wait, you were seven!" Daryl asked
"Yup." Scarlet replied while stroking Shilo
"And you managed to keep your little brother alive the whole time." He asked again gesturing to Devin who was dozing off and muttering in French.
"Well yes and no, we found a group a couple of day later, well more like they found us in the house, with my moms decayed body on the floor."
"How did you manage to kill your mom?" Daryl asked obviously a bit tipsy,
How could he ask questions like this, she just brushed the fact that she killed her own mother like dust on your shoulder,
I looked at Scarlet who tensed and lied "Crib bars can go a long way if you want them to."
"Very weary merry interesting my dear." Daryl slurred, okay maybe he was a bit more than tipsy.
"Well I'm going to get this little one off to bed." Scarlet said
To be the awesome gentleman I said "No no it's okay I can carry Devin to the office, you can get Shilo and the bags."
She gave me a small smile and responded, "Okay," and raising her voice to a playful tone "Oh yeah bags, HEY GLENN I GOT YOU SOMETHING!" She unzipped one of her bagsand she whipped a handful of condoms at Glenn and Maggie, they just laughed it off.
When we finally got Devin on the couch in the office and his new shoes off with a super soft blanket around him and a teddy bear she turned around and gave me her blanket,
"Thank you blue eyes, it's been awhile since someone has helped me with Dev."
"No problem red."
She rolled her eyes
"I have a question" she asked
"Hmm?"
"Well I was seven when this all happened, how old were you?"
"I was ten." I responded
"Hmmm interesting."
"What is?"
"Your three years older then me."
"And?"
"I'm the same height as you." She laughed
I just rolled my eyes and said good night, I walked out the door with a new blanket in my arms and wrapped it around Judith,
"You need this more then me." I Whispered in her ear.

Then I heard the familiar sound of moaning every where.
