A Race to our Destiny: Human!Sonic x Reader

Hey guys! So once again, no one requested this I just got the idea from my sister since she really likes watching all these Sonic shows so, I wanted to look up a picture of how Sonic would look like as a human! Turns out, there actually was a form of Sonic as a human so, I decided to write this! By the way, PLEASE REQUEST I'M DYING WITHOUT ANYTHING TO WRITE ABOUT!! Well,*calms down* I hope you enjoy this chapter!

You watch as Sonic and Shulk debate on who's faster.

"I'm faster! I have a monado art that gives me the power of speed!" Shulk yelled.

"Well, I'm naturally fast! Unlike someone," Sonic said. Shulk's face turned red from anger.

"Prove it then!" Shulk screamed.

"Woah Shulk. Calm down already," You said, placing a hand on his shoulder.

"Alright. Ill prove it. You,me, race, right now," Sonic demanded.

"Okay. This will be easy," Shulk said. He walked towards where the race was gonna start.

"3, 2, 1, GO!" You yelled. Sonic sprinted off as Shulk used his speed art. He ran off but suddenly tripped on a rock, causing him to fall.

He had a big scratch on his right cheek and on his knees.

"OWWW!" Shulk cried. "I think I fractured my ankle I can't move!"

You ran over to Shulk's side and sat down next to him. Sonic watched and got a little jealous.

"Oh my god, Shulk! Are you okay, does your cheek hurt!" You touched his cheek.

"Owww!" Shulk yelled once again.

"Sorry!" You apologized. You helped him up but he fell back down.

"What do I do! Ummm," You thought on how to heal Shulk's bruises.

"A kiss on my cheek would make it better," Shulk blushed, which caused you to blush.

"Um,okay. Whatever makes you feel better," You leaned in and kissed him on the cheek. Sonic ran over to Shulk and pushed him away.

"Sonic! What was that for!" You yelled.

"Is someone being a little baby?" Sonic smirked at Shulk.

"No! My ankle really hurts!" Shulk complained and curled up into a ball.

"Well, I guess that means I'm the fastest," Sonic said. Shulk turned red once again.

"No your not! I am, but I can't prove it to you cause I fractured my ankle!" Shulk explained. You felt bad for the monado boy.

"I-I can take your place. I'm probably not gonna win, but I still wanna make you feel better," You offered. Shulk gave you a smile, causing you to giggle.

"Thanks, (Y/N). Thats means a lot to me. I wish you luck!" Shulk crawled to a nearby tree and sat down under it.

"Well, to make this fair, I'm gonna do something first," Sonic grabbed one of his rings and touched it with both of his hands. "(Y/N), I need you to touch the other side of the ring."

You nodded and touched the ring. A bright light then appeared which made you cover your eyes. Once you opened them, you see a tall boy with long blue hair and green eyes.

"S-Sonic?" You asked. He nodded.

"Yup, it's me alright!" Sonic exclaimed.

"Wow Sonic! I never knew you could turn human! And to be honest, your kind of cute like this," You blushed. Sonic's face turned bright red.

"T-thanks, (Y/N)," Sonic stuttered causing you to laugh.

"Wait, why did you turn human anyways?" You asked him.

"U-um. I-I...oh, I know! Its cause uhhh...I've heard smaller people run faster, and since I'm shorter then you,I decided to turn human so I could be taller!" Sonic said.

"Oh, okay. Well, let's get started with this race!" Sonic nodded. You took your places. Shulk was still watching you two, so he counted down since he wasn't racing.

"3, 2, 1, GO!" He yelled. You two we're off, Sonic in front of you.

Eventually, the race was finally over and Sonic won. You pouted.

"I'm sorry Shulk. I lost," You looked down and sat down next to him.

"(Y/N), don't apologize! It's not your fault, and I have to admit, Sonic is faster than me," Shulk admitted. Sonic looked at him and smiled.

"Thanks man. You were pretty fast too," Sonic said.

"Thanks," Shulk smiled at Sonic.

"Oh, (Y/N)!" Sonic yelled. You looked at him, letting him know he got your attention.

"I forgot to give you something," Sonic walked towards you and handed you a little box. You opened it to reveal a ring that looks like one of Sonic's,only smaller that it could fit on your finger.

"Sonic! Its beautiful! Thank you," You embraced him into a hug, him hugging you back.

"Anything for you, (Y/N)," He whispered into your ear, giving you chills.

"(Y/N), the reason why I turned human is because... I wanted to spend more time with you. I know you wouldn't like a hedgehog, so I turned human," He confessed. You smiled.

"Sonic. You did all of that for me?" He nodded. "That's so sweet of you."

"Oh by the way, look at the ring," You gave him a confused look, but looked at the ring anyways. There, you saw 4 little words engraved on the ring, but had huge meaning to it: I Love You (Y/N).

You looked up to Sonic to see him blushing. You gave him a kiss on the cheek and said "I love you too, Sonic." Then you just walked away.

Sonic just stood there, still frozen from the sudden movement you did. When he thought you couldn't hear him, he started jumping up and down and running around in circles.

"I can't believe it!! (Y/N) KISSED ME!!!" He screamed from the top of his lungs. He got a few looks from the other smashers, some from what he just screamed out loud and some from how he turned into a human.

You looked back to Sonic and started laughing. He looked back at you and blushed and gave you a small wave. You waved at him and started walking again.

"She kissed me."
