"Why do you have like this dancing fire in your eyes?" I asked rather cautiously. With my want to get out of the house and the commotion, I didn't bother to grab Kiwi. "Is it not surprising I have a dark side?" I looked over at him. "Boston, you are really short it's hard to imagine." I said laughing, waiting for a comeback that never came. "You should take your own advice, might want to be careful to whom you mess with. Not saying I have killed anyone because I can neither confirm nor deny that one. Although, if I could make a choice to who dies, it would be those who treat you horribly. It's not that I like you or anything, I-" I cut him off laughing. "Its fine, don't worry about those people because I don't feel to horribly about them. However sometimes it will just get under your skin. It's not what I like to think about though, just happy thoughts." I said with a smile, sometimes though you do just have to push through.

After shopping, Boston had some good clothing and I never did find my green sweater. Is it that hard to find a plain green sweater? I rolled my eyes and Boston and I walked through the door and the stench attacked my nose. I walked over to the fridge to see that Jake had left a note, him and Nathan were going clubbing, strange, oh well. "Well, its just you and I after my dad leaves. No telling how long he will be gone for." I shrugged my shoulders has the house phone began ringing. I ehaled as I raced over to the phone. "Hello?" I asked.

"Oh lord, you finally answered! Cassie I am freaking out, I don't know what to do for this rental. I have no sound techs and its supposed to start in two hours Its simple I don't have a mic set or any music and I don't know how to turn on the sound system," I rolled my eyes.

"Ummm, who is this?" I asked, I don't recognize the voice.

"It's Ms. Perce, the drama teacher gave me your number today but you never answered and I have been freaking out because I can't do what needs to be done without a sound tech and she told me to call you and Jess is doing lights," I closed my eyes and silently cursed. Of course, it will be dangling in my face, the chance to kill but I can't damn. "Cassie? Cassie? Could you do it?"

I hung up after telling her I would be there in a few minutes. "So, Boston, you wanna come? I get to tag team tech with Jess, great right? But we have to leave now," my voice dripped with sarcasm as I ran up to my room to put on all black. I have to disappear into the shadows.

The ride over my mind was fogged with all of the possibilities on how I could get ri of Jess and make it fun. I wonder what would happen if I pushed her out of the booth window. I don't think that would kill her as much as just hurt her. I might be able to pin it on Boston too. I couldn't have been the only one who saw the fire dance in his eyes. I wonder how painful I could make Jess' last breath. I could make her beg for mercy. I could carve kick me into her back; I could do so many things.

With my mind riddled with the endless possibilities I got out of car, and sadly Boston decided to stay at home, saying he wouldn't be too much of a help. "Hey Ms. Perce, how many mics and what kind of music?" I asked, getting hyped up because I'm getting paid double what I should be, twenty four dollars an hour, and I have no clue how long I am working. "We need three mics and whatever music you desire, just up beat and happy could care less what song. Plus, thank you." I nodded once, and started to gather the shure 58's and XLR cords. Once I finished with the patch bay and channels, I asked them to test the mics to get them to the desired levels. The mains were up and functioning and everything was running smoothly, until Jess walked in.

"Did you touch my lighting board?" I whipped my head around to see Jess with her hands in the air, obviously fuming. "Nope," I replied quickly, as I went back to testing mic levels. Jess just stayed standing there. "You do realize you need to bring house lights down, right? Its starting." I say as I turn off the light in my booth and dim the light over the sound board. Finally, some sort of magic happened and she realized she needed to move, and function. That took forever.

Wrapping up the XLR cords after the rental ended was tiring. It's now nearing midnight, and I'm am still cleaning up from them having fun. Ms. Perce came from back stage as I was putting the mics away in the patch room. "Here's your pay, 144 dollars, and thank you so much for your help." I smiled as she placed the money in my hands.

"Cassandra, may I have a word with you please?" My head snapped over to the school officer, who had his hand placed firmly over the handle of his gun. "Yes," I responded, barely comprehending what was happening, "Will you come with me willingly?" I looked down, feeling a crooked smile tug at my lips, which I somehow thoroughly restrained. "Where to officer?" I asked as I hopped off stage and over to the back of house, as he turned and began walking out of the lobby and to his car.

"As you are well aware, Amy and Poppy were killed both within the past few weeks, we got an anonymous tip saying you knew both of them better than what you were letting on." I looked away, "They bullied me, it caused me to stay home all the time, I only had one friend that died a few years ago named Jazmine, but the point is, yes I knew them rather unwillingly." He nodded in understanding, "so Amy and Poppy both bullied you, and what kind of things would they do?" I swallowed, trying to show nonexistent emotions. "They would put 'Kick Me' signs on my back, plant drugs on me trying to get me arrested. I can't really say other things, its stuff that happens all the time. Normal beatings, and insults, its weird that I haven't done anything myself," I knew I slipped up at that moment. While they are trying to fir the puzzle pieces together, I might want to kill Jess.
