Lucille Layline shared a common intrest in metalwork and meddling with machines. She had once observed one of Geoffrey's more....outlandish contraptions at a festive local gathering about a month back. The device, to be put simply, was meant to tie one's necktie in under three and a half seconds. After a disappointing malfunction involving a poor man's moustache, the crowds once again ridiculed Geoffrey for the supposed fool he was. However, Lucy was enthralled and captivated by this puzzling device and its potential. After gleefully speaking to Geoffrey about the inner workings of his marvelous machine, they both agreed to work as partners-in-crime, for lack of a better term.
Soon after their meeting, they began tinkering and meddling with the ideas in their heads to produce wonders the world had never seen before. With so many creations coming into being, logically there would be at least one that didn't entirely work properly. This is the story of how they managed to break time.
