11. A New Series

Shout out first!  I just want to say that I'm not really for giving shout outs to people who have millions of reads and thousands of comments.  I prefer to give shout outs to those who are good but aren't discovered yet. 

That being said I think I've ran out of people.  I know there's tons of undiscovered stories on Wattpad (I'm one of them) but I only have a select few in my library and I'm too lazy right now to go search for more.  So what I'm getting at is my shout out is a popular writer.  chriset19

She hasn't uploaded in a couple of months (kind of sad) and her story is very much unfinished but I think it's a good quick read (despite the fact that she has tons of chapters up)  Go look at it!  It's a romance all the way...a girl is shipped off to a boarding school and falls in love with her teacher who's dorm is a few doors down from hers!  How crazy is that!?

Now that I've broken my personal rule by giving a shout out to someone who is "discovered" (and is a good writer) it's up to you guys to let me know if you're "undiscovered."  Comment below, I'll read your stuff, comment on your stuff, and then I'll let everyone know about you (or at least all those who read this will know about you)

If you haven't noticed by my chapter title I'm starting a new series.  I'm calling it WHAT'S IN MY...    I know, it sounds totally cool but will probably end up as super lame.  But I thought I'd give it a shot and if it's a total failure I'll give it up.

So basically the rules of the game go like this.  I'll say something like What's in my bedroom and then I'll write about my room.  I'll just talk about the things in my room.  And I think this will go a lot better if you guys gave suggestions to up coming WHAT'S IN MY...   Like I might offer a what's in my closet, or jewelery box, or how about my car.  Do you get the picture???  Lame?  Hmmmm......

And like always you guys can join in.   :)  So I'm going to start it off right now with WHAT'S IN MY...BEDROOM!  I'm not trying to brag about my stuff!

When you first walk into my bedroom the first thing you see is a messy bed...sadly it's always messy.  But you'd also notice that it is very green.  My sheets are light green, my blanket is green, and most of my pillowcases are green.  (By the way, I have about 7 pillows...I can't sleep without a lot of pillows)  My bed has a headboard and a small foot-board (is that what it's called) but what is really cool is that it matches my dresser! 

My dresser has a nice big mirror on it (I can see myself right now if I look over at it)  It also has a hair brush, some smelly sprays to make my room smell good, and two dolls that are meant for decoration...not the kind you play with. :P

Next to my dresser to the left are some religious pictures and some words from the bible...like big vinyl words that stick on the wall. (I'm a religious person, yes.  Sorry if that bothers you)  To the right of my dresser is my coat rack and it's full of sweaters and coats because that's what it's used for.

Right next to my bed is my nightstand.  I'm pretty sure I've already said what was on that in a previous chapter so I won't bore you again.  So those are the main things you see when you walk into my room. (P.S. my room has an odd shape to it and I can't really explain it)

Once you walk into my room (be careful not to trip on the trash can) and you turn to the right you see my desk (which is where I'm sitting now)  There are a few shelves with odd things on them and so on and so forth...it's a desk...it has desk stuff on it.  (except for my snowman snow globe...that's not desk stuff)  My desk is a very light color and the my bed, nightstand, and dresser are dark...so they kind of don't match.

To the right of desk on my wall is my magnet board...it has stuff that is supposed to go on a magnet board...go figure. To the left of the desk is my seat.  It's like a padded brown bench that has storage in it.  Well, that sits under my window except I have a basement room so my view is of a cement wall.

To the left of my seat is the door that leads to the outside!  That's right...I have two doors in my bedroom.  One takes me to the hallway and the other takes me to a flight of stairs on the outside.  I know...you're all totally jealous and I don't know why.  

But by now we've made it back to my coat rack so all in all my room is small (but big enough to fit a bed, dresser, desk, and bench with a smallish walkway) 

Oh my goodness I forgot to tell you about my closets.  I'm not going to say what is in them but I do have two very very very small closets (did I mention they're small) on opposite sides of the room.  So technically I have 4 door in my room...my walls are basically doors. The reason my room is shaped funny and has two closets and a door leading to the outside is because originally this room was an office for my grandpa's business, then it turned into a living room, and now it's my bedroom.  It's been through a lot of transformations over the years.

Now for colors and such.  My room is a very light yellow color...it's pretty darn close to white.  The trim (like around the doors) is a greenish grey color...actually I don't know what color it is, it's indescribable.  I have a wallpaper boarder around my ceiling and it looks like drapped fabric and it's green and deep purple.  My blinds are green and my valences are purple, gold and green!  It all kind of matches.  On my walls (like I've said) I have religious pictures that I won't say much about and one picture of some butterflies.

I have three lights on my ceiling but before you question why, my room is super dark.  One light doesn't seem to light this small bedroom.  And like I said, this used to be an office so...that's why.  Only one light works when I turn on the switch...the others I have to be turned on with their own switches.  They are rarely on. 

My carpet is a mixture of colors and soft.  (It's new because someone offered to put it in)  My ceiling is the same color as my walls and it it super low and very flat...nothing special there.

I just realized that that is probably super boring!  Maybe this won't be a series but a one hit wonder!  Go ahead and explain your rooms (in a condensed version I guess).

I think I do this because I like to hear about other people (not in a stalking sort of way).  I guess I'm just interested in how everyone is similar or unique...
