All this should have been a warning to Kyle and his partner Benjamin...

Due to the incidents at King's Cross Station, it was challenging to find a carriage. The stations were in complete chaos as they tried to accommodate the diverted trains without delaying their own services too much.
To Kaylee's annoyance, this didn't work, of course... The press coverage over the next few days would certainly not be favourable for the railway company.
"Can't we just sleep somewhere for the night?" Millicent begged, yawning behind her hand.
But Crowford shook his head and gave the young woman a very serious look. "We don't know if those creatures are still after you or what's behind all this. You're nowhere safer than at the Order."
Kaylee had no desire to stand guard or play nanny while undead creatures roamed outside.
When they finally reached the Order a little later and slipped through the door behind the museum, it was already late at night. Big Ben had struck three times and played its quiet melody as they passed it in the carriage, announcing that it was quarter past three.
In the vestibule behind the entrance door, the eerie guard sat day and night, looking up from his card game. The two glowing dots under the brim of his flat cap seemed to glow even more brightly in the darkness, reminiscent of horror stories whispered in the light of lanterns.
"Candidata," Crowford said in a firm voice. The figure scrutinised Miss Clarence closely before turning her head away and ignoring the new arrivals. Kaylee exhaled and only then realised she had been holding her breath. She brushed the black, slightly curly strands of hair from her face.
"So... this is it?" Millicent murmured nervously as she walked past the guard with a visibly uncomfortable look and descended the stairs into the darkness. "It looks pretty run-down for an order..." She kept glancing back until the eerie guards had disappeared from view, her slender fingers fidgeting with the dirty fabric of her dress.
"Well, we'd be a very poor order if we covered up the supernatural and secrets, but our headquarters would obviously be recognizable or publicly signposted, don't you think?"
"That's true." Millicent let out a soft laugh that lightened the mood a little. It seemed to echo off the walls and shelves. "What... was that up there?" she asked, and Dr. Archer turned his head in obvious surprise.
Kyle picked up the thread more quickly. "You recognised that the guardian is not human because he has an aura, didn't you?" the magician concluded, his guess confirmed by Millicent's hesitant nod.
"That's... impressive," said Dr. Archer, who was slowly beginning to grasp the extent of Millicent's abilities.
"That up there is not a human being, nor is it alive, you are correct, Miss Clarence. However, you must forgive us for not being able to tell you what or who it is."
Millicent looked at the magician intently, then her lips twisted into a slight smile. "Because you don't know either?" the young woman teased. Benjamin disguised his laughter with a cough, and Crowford snorted.
