"Tomatsu! Clean the kitchen! NOW!" "And bring us some Daddy's juice" called her parents. Like I'd forget. She mumbled as she stumbled her way upstairs. Everything ached because she had bruises everywhere. If you wonder why, it's because her parents are abusive. Once upon a time, (aka like 5 months ago) Tomatsu forgot to simply bring her father a beer and as punishment , a shove down the stairs. It sent her to the hospital and as an excuse from school they said she "tripped".
After a long day of labor (work. Not the other thing for all of you who "misunderstood") Tomastu sluggishly pulled herself to her "room" which was an attic. She plopped onto her bed as a dust cloud poofed out her bed. I'm not getting to sleep anytime soon. She thought. Tomatsu stared out her cloudy window into the starry night. She saw a streak of light burn through the sky. A shooting star! It couldn't hurt to try... She thought. Tomatsu closed her eyes and whispered the sacred words. "I wish I could be somewhere I belong. After she spoke those words there was a moment of blissful silence before (she jinxed herself) and the retched She-devil yelled "I don't hear sleeping!" Tomatsu shoved her head into her pillow and slept the night till the sub shone through her eyelids.
