13: The Zinit

The Infirmary

I get up and stare at the bandages wrapped on my arm. It's still sore so I leave them on. I change from the medical robes I was given, into my shirt and a new pair of pants. I pull my boots on and walk out of the room I was in. The voice said I have to find the Eliacube... I gotta find Adamai. I run into the Castles Advisor. "Good Morning Evangelene!" He shouts loudly. I just stare and slightly wave. I run off before he can say another word. "What a nice girl.". "Adamai?" I shout frantically. Where could he be... I think to myself. I have no idea where to look... I realize how little I can remember of my life on earth. It's so weird.... I remember from on episode there was a meeting room. I run in that direction.

I eventually find it, it took me longer than expected. I see Yugo and Adamai. The king also sits. They seem to be talking. I wave at Adamai, but Yugo notices instead, he waves back and I point at Adamai. He nods to me and taps Adamai, then points in my direction. I gesture to him. He tells the king something and walks towards me.
"Do you remember where the Zinit was?" I say as I grab his shoulders.
"The Zinit..? What? How did you know about that?" He asks. "
Long story. But this is important. I need the Eliacube." I tell him.
"What? What are you.... Why. Why do you need it." He shoots me a look. A look that says he won't let me do anything until he gets an answer.
"Fine I'll tell you now." I sigh heavily. "I had a vision yesterday. A voice... Someone told me I need to find it. "
Adamai hesitates, then nods. Man he believes me. He started to walk "From what I can remember, I fought someone who consumed it. I assume hat it would be returned to the spot it hides.." I don't think it was ever revealed where the hiding place was on the show.. Adamai proceeded to walk until we entered a room. It was dimly lit and almost impossible to see. Adamai closed his eyes and the center of the room glowed a beautiful turquoise. The room lit up, revealing the small blue Eliacube. Adamai reached for the cube but instead floated above his head. This was all my dreams imagined.

He opened his eyes and turned to me. "Here it is. I will take you to the zinit. " He walked on and I trailed behind him.

(Later when they reach the zinit)

The door slowly cracks open and we step in. He walks like he knows this place all too well. The entire place smells burnt. I can barely remember what happened in here. We walk on, the smell getting stronger with each step.  We reach an incredibly large room walking swiftly towards the center. The Eliacube simply lands atop a small bronze device, the entire room lighting up in a beautiful array of blue. He turns towards me. I smile staring at the barely visible roof, the dark looming over us.
"Do what you must." He says to me, hesitantly. He looks worried, as if I were to betray him any second now.
" Is... Something wrong?" I say, my voice quivering.
"This is usually when people betray me... Heh.." He looks to the ground, silently thinking.

I turn to the cube, pulsing a teal instead of turquoise. I put my hand on it, the entire room changing from shades of blue to orange, I feel life drain from my body, slowly going numb. Like my consciousness is leaving my body and entering the cube.

Then.. Everything goes black.
