Beach Date

**Julia's POV**
Today my boyfriend Hayes and I are going to the beach together.

I walk over to my dresser and grab my favorite bikini. A bright pink top and black bottoms.

I put it on and grab a pair of high waisted shorts and a muscle tee to go over it.

Then I grab my Nike bag and start to pack it.

I put a sweatshirt for later, sunscreen, Chapstick, two bottles of water, two towels, a couple of snacks, and my phone.

Then I go downstairs and eat a doughnut for breakfast.

After finishing my breakfast. I go back upstairs and grab my bag and go back downstairs to wait for Hayes. 

About five minutes later I hear a knock on the door.

I get up and answer it to see Hayes.

"Hey babe!he says and gives me a hug and a peck on the lips.

"Hey" I say.

"Ready for the beach?" He says.

"Always babe!" I say

With that we walk out the door and down to the beach. We live pretty close to the beach so it's a short walk.

--Skip to Beach--

"Is right here ok?" Hayes asks

"Yeah perfect." I say.

We set up our stuff and lay down.

I lay on my back and Hayes on his stomach.

--15 min. later--
Hayes turns his body so he is on his side facing me.

He puts his hand so it's supporting his head.

And grins. God I love that grin.

"Why are you staring at me?" I say.

"Cause your beautiful" he says.

"Your so cheesy" I say.

"But you love me." He says and gives me a kiss on the forehead.

"Yeah I guess." I say joking around.

"What?!" Hayes says. Looking scared.

"Just kidding you idiot." I say giving him a kiss

--7 p.m.--
**Hayes POV**

I'm having such a great time with Julia. It's amazing how happy she makes me.

Basically all day we just lied on the beach and occasionally gave each other kisses. Along with going in the water when the California sun got too hot.

**Julia's POV**
So far today has been amazing. This is by far one of my favorite dates.

It's starting to get late now. It's about 7 p.m. Hayes just told me he has a surprise for me.

Honestly I'm kinda scared this could end up really bad or really good.

But somehow Hayes always knows how to make every situation really good. I guess it's just a talent of his.

Just another thing I love about him. Although the list goes on for miles.

Right now Hayes and I are cuddling on our towels. It's starting to get chilling and I think Hayes notices that I'm about to freeze to death.

"Princess are you cold?" He says looking down at me.

"Uh a little, but I'm fine. Don't worry about me." I say. Not wanting to sound needy.

"Babe, it's my job to worry about you" he says giving me a peck on the forehead.

Then he gets up and grabs one of his football jerseys out of his bag.

He's always thinking ahead. another thing to add to the list.

He puts it on me and smiles

"You know. You look really good in my clothes"

"Thanks Grier" I say and plant my head on his chest.

"I have a question" I say

"What's that princess?" Hayes says.

"When do I get my surprise?"

"Uhm. Right about now." He says motioning his head to the board walk.

I glance my head over to find.

Shawn.
Shawn. Mendes.

Shawn is like my big brother. I'm so proud of all he has done. With Taylor swift and his album.

He comes walking down the beach. Towards Hayes and I. I run up to him and give him a huge hug. I haven't seen him in ages.

After my hug him and Hayes do a bro hug thing.

Then he sits down and begins to sing.

He sings all of his songs. His voice is so angelic.

"Did u like your surprise princess?" Hayes asks as we once again cuddle on the beach. All though now it is much later.

"Loved it. Thank you baby"

"Anything for my princess".

"I love you babe"

"I love you too princess"

I couldn't have asked for a better day with my love.
