A Dean x Reader story

INTRO!!

This is basically your background, letting you know what you are so you won't be confused later. This section is actually really important to the story line so be sure to read it or else you will be confused later.

You are a girl, not any regular girl, you're a winged girl. (Like from Maximum Ride if you've read that book) You and your younger brother, Maximilian who's five years younger than you, have always been together. When you were born your parents were going to put you up for adoption before the L.I.V.E. science foundation came and offered your parents a lump sum of money in exchange for you to take part in their experiment, they gladly agreed. You stayed there until you were 6 and got sent back home to your biological parents, the facility you were staying in had shut down and all the mutant freaks, like yourself, were being sent off into the real world.

Your parents let you live with them for about two years, in which you met your brother, he was just barely 1 year old. After the two years your parents gave you and Max both up for adoption, not wanting some winged freak to take care of. So you got put in a orphanage near Cincinnati, where there was a similar test lab to what you had your first six years in. They had offered to take your wings off, which you declined, they brought you happiness, but also great sorrow.

You had several foster parents, but it was difficult to be homed because you refused to leave your brother by himself and your supernatural growths on your back. After a year of moving around, and getting called a freak,  you and Max had finally got someone who was willing to adopt the both of you. A man and his wife in South Dakota, the Singer family. You went out there, determined to stay in this place with Max, you never showed any of them your wings and instead kept them tightly folded against your back. Half a year later these two adults were your legal family, then summer came and you thought for sure they would send you back when they saw your wings so you never liked wearing a swimsuit.

Then along came two boys, they were both a few years older than you, Dean and Sam Winchester. Their dad would constantly drop them off at your house for Bobby to look after, and being the adorable 10 year old that you are, you made friends with them almost instantly. One day Dean noticed your wings under your shirt and started questioning you about them. You made him promise to tell no one, not even Sam or Bobby, he reluctantly agreed and you showed him your wings in your room. Your wings, each one as long as you are tall, and raven black sleek and shinny, Dean instantly loved them and was asking all kinds of questions. You were just glad that he didn't call you a freak or try to beat you up because of it. After that, every time Dean came over he asked to see your wings, or if he could go flying with you.

That went on for quite a while, until one fall day after you turned 12, the boys dad came in to the house with Sam and Dean in tow. You waved at them and Dean just sent you looks of sympathy and worry, John was furious about something that had happened when the boys were over here. Things seemed to be getting heated so you took Max upstairs and he played with the feathers on the edges of your wings like he always did when you were upset. John had found out that you had wings and could fly because Dean would always draw you and him together and his dad had seen them and got the information he was looking for.

After all the shouting downstairs had stopped Bobby called you down, instead of being angry he seemed sorry for you. He knew that John would have tried to kill you, because of the monster that you are, Bobby gently convinced you to show him your wings. When you finally did he was in awe, he had you show him that you could really fly but he never touched them unless you said so.

The fact that he didn't kick you out overjoyed you and you started showing your wings on the outside of your shirt instead of hiding them. After that day Sam and Dean didn't come back for a really long time. When you were 15 Bobby introduced you to the supernatural world and explained lots of things to you. He trained you to fight and shoot but the most you normally did in actual hunts was research. You went on your first real hunt when you were 17 and out of school, during which you freaked out and wound up flying into the rafters of the ware house and shooting down things from there.

The person Bobby was with had left a long time ago leaving it down to just you Max and Bobby in the house. Max had picked up what you were doing every time you left the house for a hunt and wasn't very surprised when you told him about the supernatural when he was 14.

Now you're 23 and Max is out of school and you didn't think you were ever going to see your best child hood friends until now.
