After flying long enough to get a fairly far distance from Dean you land in a very tall oak tree, tucking in your wings in a gentle motion. Once settled you lean back against the tree and curl your legs tight against your chest.

Thinking about what Dean said you automatically think of all the things that could go wrong. After a while of sitting there and sulking you feel your eyes droop with the setting sun. Not considering what could sneak up on you, you curl into a groove in the tree and fall asleep.

Several hours later you wake up to the sound of rustling leaves, thinking that it was just the boys searching for you, you peek over the edge of the branch and nearly fall off when you see three people who are not Sam or Dean. You keep watching them, and thanks to your abnormal hearing you listen in from your perch in the dark.

"I- I don't want any trouble." A young boy says as he shrinks against the tree.

"Then you better tell us where that winged freak is." Says an older man, probably not much older than Dean though.

"I don't know what you're talking about there's nobody in this town with wings." The boy says and a pleading look splashes across his face. You shift to a lower branch while staying out of sight to try and see who they are.

"You was followin' her out here, we saw ya chase after her flying 'round." The second goon says in his thick accent.

"I didn't know that it was her! Why not go after someone else who knows what you're asking?" The boy says, starting to get angry.

"Enough. The boy knows nothing, let him scamper into the night." A woman says from the black of the shadows.

"Yes ma'am" both goons say at the same time and the boy runs past her into the night.

"Why are we chasin' after the girl again?" Goon 2 says to the mystery lady.

"Because I need her back at the facility to lead the other freaks out of purgatory and fly to heaven to destroy it in surprise." The woman says and walks into the light cast by a nearby streetlight. As soon as she comes into sight the putrid smell of sulfur is like a slap to the face, a demon, just to be expected.

You flatten yourself against the tree and hope they won't see you. You stay like that for nearly 30 minutes before they leave and panic takes over you.

So many thoughts are racing through your head. 'Why me?' you think to yourself. 'What about Sam and Dean?' then realization hits you, 'Oh no! Sam and Dean! I've been gone for hours. What if they don't want me with them anymore because I ran away? What if Dean kicks me out because I prodded too much? If Dean kicks me out then that demon lady will get me for sure."

You come down from the tree, making sure the coast is clear before taking off to fly back to the hotel you were staying at as fast as you could.

When you arrive back the Impala is gone, you think nothing of it and walk into the room spotting Sam sitting in the browsing position.

You carefully walk over and sit on the floor in front of Sam, who doesn't notice you until you creep your hands up onto his laptop screen, making him jump.

"(y/n)! Don't do that, how are you even that quiet!" Sam yells as he shuts down his computer and sets it aside.

"Sorry." You say meekly, moving up to the homely bed to sit next to him, still shocked that some demon wanted you, you stay silent.

"So where have you been for the past few hours?" Sam says, trying to start another conversation.

"Park." Is all that you could reply with and lean back against Sam's bed to look at the ceiling and try to calm your racing heart.

"And what happened with Dean?" Sam says, turning to be able to see your face.

You frown and roll over to face him, you'd rather talk to your brother about these kinds of things than some guy you hardly know. Sam raises his eyebrows at you to try and get you to talk to him, but you're afraid that if you tell him what you really think he'll go tell Dean and then Dean won't be happy with you. So you decide to keep quiet and wait it out until Sam starts talking again.

"(y/n)? Are you alright?" Sam says, glancing at the tears that were gently rolling down your face, you didn't even realize that you had started crying.

Sam reaches out a hand to try and wipe away one of your tears that was threatening to spill over but you jerked away from him and wrapped one of your wings across your face and mumble through it to him. "Don't touch me." Is all that you can say before you start hiccuping.

"Alright." Sam replies as he draws his hand back from your shaking figure, he makes slow movements to get up and walk out the door, careful not to startle you. As soon as you hear the door close you start sobbing violently into your wing.

A good while later your sobs turn into sniffles and you move over to the couch to lay down, seeing that you wore yourself out from crying so much, you fell asleep almost as soon as your head hit the couch.
