Lazareth (circling slowly, voice like silk-wrapped venom):
"Did they take it from you? Or did you lock it away yourself? I wonder... do you even know why you're still fighting?"
(Etzia doesn't move. Her gaze never breaks.)
Etzia (quiet, measured):
"I don't need reasons that make sense to you."
(Lazareth tilts his head, intrigued.)
Lazareth:
"No purpose. No drive. And yet, you came here. You don't even flinch for yourself-so what are you protecting?"
(Etzia steps forward-not aggressive, but resolute.)
Etzia:
"Just because I don't feel the way others do... doesn't mean I walk away."
(She glances briefly toward Solara, then back.)
Etzia (firm):
"No mission. No cause. I'm still here. That's the choice. Mine."
Lazareth (soft chuckle):
"Even without direction... you tether yourself to others?"
Etzia (flat):
"Direction is optional. Leaving people behind isn't."
(A silence. Heavy. Lazareth's smirk falters just slightly.)
Etzia (final, calm):
"You think you understand control. But I'm not following orders. I'm not broken. I just choose to stay with them."
(Lazareth's eyes gleam, his calm demeanor unbroken. Veyra stands at his side, silent but ready. Etzia's stance is controlled, rooted. Solara shifts beside her-tense, breathing hard.)
Lazareth (voice silky, taunting):
"Such fascinating contradictions. One sister clinging to ghosts. The other, reassembled from pieces. I wonder which of you is more complete."
Samara (low, sharp):
"You're done talking."
(She moves-fast. A burst of motion and fury. Her fist collides with Lazareth's jaw, a crack of energy and bone. He stumbles slightly-not hurt, but surprised. Sparks flicker where her glove hits skin.)
Etzia (sigh):
"Solara."
Samara (panting, furious):
"He was baiting us."
Etzia (calm, stepping between her and Lazareth):
"We don't talk with the enemy. But we don't lunge like amateurs either."
Samara (stepping back beside Etzia, still simmering):
"I'm not sorry. He needed that."
(The tension resets-but now it burns hotter. Lazareth's posture shifts-no longer just observing. Now engaged. And Veyra's eyes lock on Solara's with a spark of something unspoken.)
Veyra (flat):
"You shouldn't have come back.
Samara (dryly):
"Neither should you."
The chamber's humming shifts to a pulse, walls vibrating as the four warriors face off. Flickers of Numen energy crackle through the air-bright, volatile, alive.
Samara (eyes blazing, fire swirling around her fists):
"Let's end this."
With a roar, she charges, her fists trailing fiery comets. Lazareth reacts instantly, a ripple of violet Numen distorting space between them. His hand slices the air, sending shards of memory-warping energy spiraling toward Solara like razor-edged illusions.
Etzia (calm, her entire body glowing faintly yellow, as if sunlight itself flows beneath her skin) moves with precision-a ghost in the storm. She dodges the violet shards effortlessly, her motions deliberate and economical, each step a calculated strike.
Etzia's hands ignite with pale Numen energy-cold and sharp as ice-and she lashes out, striking a concussive blast toward Veyra.
Veyra (dark energy coiling around her arms, a twisted mirror of Solara's flames but shadow-black) counters with a sweeping strike, the shadows answering her call, absorbing Etzia's blast and flinging it back as a wave of crushing darkness.
The two individuals collide midair, fire and shadow spiraling, locking blades of Numen energy crackling between them like clashing swords.
Lazareth (smiling, stepping through the chaos, hands weaving sigils in the air)
"Memories are malleable. Your past, your future... all mine to shape."
He lashes out again, a pulse of distorted reality washing over the chamber. Solara stumbles, briefly trapped in a loop of her own memories-reliving moments of loss and fury. Her fiery aura flickers.
Samara (gritting her teeth, shaking off the mental attack):
"You're not rewriting me."
She channels all her willpower into a blazing Numen explosion-flames roaring into a phoenix-shaped burst that blinds Lazareth.
Solara (stepping into the shadows, voice calm and distant)
"Efficiency requires control."
She moves like a whisper, slipping behind Lazareth. With a sudden surge, her Numen energy forms a lance of pure light, piercing through his defenses.
Lazareth (grunting, staggered)
"Impressive... but insufficient."
He twists the air, fracturing the chamber into warped reflections.
Veyra's shadow tendrils lash out, grabbing Etzia, binding her in a cocoon of darkness.
Samara (fury reigniting, fiery fists breaking through the shadow bindings):
"Not while I'm breathing."
She tears toward Veyra with a trail of flame, their energies colliding in a spectacular explosion that shakes the entire chamber.
The fight blurs-energy surges, strikes flash like lightning, and the boundaries between reality and illusion shatter with every blow.
In this battle of wills and Numen power, only one thing is certain:
No one here fights alone.
Lazareth (smirking, circling her):
"You wield fire like a hammer. Blunt, loud, but predictable. Let me show you finesse."
Samara(eyes fierce, flames crackling around her fists):
"Your tricks don't scare me. Fire burns everything down-including illusions."
(She lunges forward, a blazing punch aimed straight at his chest. Lazareth twists the air, bending space - her fist passes through a ripple, striking only shadows.)
Lazareth (mocking):
"Missed me."
(He counters, a whip of violet energy lashes toward Solara's side. She spins, flames flaring in a defensive shield.)
Samara (gritting her teeth):
"You're fast-but not fast enough."
(She surges ahead, flames forming a phoenix shape around her. The fiery bird screeches, diving at Lazareth. He melts into shadow just before impact, reappearing behind her.)
Lazareth (whispering near her ear):
"You can't burn what doesn't fully exist."
Samara (whirling, striking with a fiery palm):
"Then I'll burn the parts you hide."
(The flames crackle, licking at his form, forcing him back. Lazareth grins, the violet glow intensifying.)
Lazareth (voice low, dangerous):
"You fight with heart. That will be your undoing."
Samara (voice steady, burning with resolve):
"Heart's the one thing you'll never understand."
(She punches the ground, igniting a shockwave of fire that races toward him. Lazareth leaps high, shattering the wave with a blast of warped Numen energy.)
Lazareth (landing softly):
"Impressive. But this dance isn't over."
(Suddenly, shadow tendrils coil from the darkness-Veyra's presence looming nearby.)

FantasyHey! Just a heads-up-this story might feel a little rushed and has its fair share of plot holes. It's my first time writing something with script-style dialogue and pacing, so I'm still figuring things out. Thanks for giving it a chance! ***********...
