Chapter 92- Devious Plots

Nandini's POV:

"Nandini's parents died in that accident and she never went back to Manik after that" Navya said to Cabir, unaware that me and Manik were standing there. I don't know why but Cabir was so keen on learning about the distance between us. Manik and me were standing there without moving an inch. As Navya went back in time, I wish I would go away with Amma Nanna that night. Maybe it is destined to spend my life in the guilt and regret of losing them. My eyes moistened going back to that eventful night. Manik stood there as a statue listening to Cabir and Navya's conversation. "Kyu?" Cabir's question made us turn heads towards them again. "Manik ke saath rehne ki koi wajha ki nahi thi Nandini ke paas. Why would anyone want to be in a loveless marriage. They took divorce on mutual consent" Navya said. "Sad! So Manik did agreed for a divorce, uske ghar mein kuch nahi bataya!" Cabir asked. "Not just Manik but his family tried to convince Nandini for a few months but Nandini have already taken her decision to get separated from him" she said. 

"I've asked Manik about himself but he never told me anything about him or his family" Cabir wondered. "Manik never wanted to take divorce but then never gave a reason to stay together. He is a good person but couldn't become a good husband" Navya concluded. "Acha na hone ki baat kya thi isme, Shuru se dekh raha hu, Manik never loved Nandini and why is she avoiding Manik like he cheated on her. Seriously isme Manik ki koi galti nahi hai" Cabir said and Manik looked on. How spineless can one be! Afterall he is Manik's friend, why would he find fault with him. "Oh hello, itna sab sun ne ke baad bhi tum Nandini ko galat samaj rahe ho" Navya tried to put some sense in him. "Navya" Cabir held her hand to stop Navya. "I love you" Cabir said looking into her eyes. How can someone be this bad! I feel pity for him. Navya walked out on him and she saw both me and Manik at the door. She went off from there and Cabir followed her out. "Cabir, please uska mood theek nahi hoga. Don't come now" I said. "Wah kya timing tha! What did you expect her reply to be! I love you too" Manik said sarcastically. Of course how can he appreciate anyone who propose their love. 

"Navya" I called her and went behind. "Kya socha Cabir ke baare mein?" I asked her. I knew he definitely liked her but his timing was so bad, in fact pathetic. "He doesn't know the value of the words he spoke just now, he doesn't even understand your love for Manik, how can he love someone. Uske liye har baat apni matlab ki hoga" Navya said. I know she is upset right now but I hope she doesn't judge him. "Koi bhi decision lene se pehle uske baare mein socho, Cabir ki timing galat hai par wo khud nahi" I tried to find what she is feeling but I couldn't. I casually turned aside and saw Neha standing outside. "Navya, main abhi aati hu" I said and went out. "Oh glad that you came out" she said. "Neha, tum yaha kyu wait kar rahi thi" I asked her. "Nandini, there's something urgent, come near the swimming pool" she said in a low voice. "Ok, I'll get Navya too" I said returning to room but she held my hand. "You alone!'' she said. "Is everything fine" I've put my hand on her. Ever since her grand mother died, I'm scared of what's coming. "Yeah yeah, its nothing". God she saved me. "Everyone's waiting Nandini, see you in 10 minutes" she said and ran to another room. 

She is in a hurry but why! Well, maybe I would know once I go near the swimming pool. It was almost late in the night, if not for Neha, I'd have gone to sleep by now. I changed into my sleepwear pajamas and asked Navya to sleep as I said Neha had called me. I went near the swimming pool where Neha called me and I guess I was late. Aryaman, Abhimanyu, Jai, Manik, Cabir, Karthik, Neha were already there. Tara just joined after me. "You're late again" Manik said. "I'm sorry but what is this emergency meeting for?" Tara replied to Manik before I could speak. Did he said that for me or Tara? "Abhi, why is Mukti not here, should I call her too" Tara asked Abhimanyu. "Nahi, she is putting the baby to sleep, wo nahi aa sakti" he said. "Neha, what's this for?" I asked. Neha came forward and held my hands. "Yaha pe itna sab kuch ho raha hai, and you didn't feel like you should tell us Nandini" she said. "What do you mean itna sab kuch" I asked her. "It's okay, I didn't think you would hide this but anyways Cabir told us all everything" I was shocked and my hands were cold.
