James smiled down at Aleks' peaceful face as he waited for him to wake up. The patters of Ein's paws against the wooden floor had woken him up a bit earlier but he couldn't find it in him to get up. Aleks' light breathing relaxed to a point where he was falling back asleep until he heard a small inhale.

Aleks' eyes fluttered open barely registering his surroundings. He burrowed back under the blanket and up against James' chest.

Jumping a bit he sat up staring in shock at James.

"Wha? You? Here?" He sputtered clenching the blanket that had gathered around his waist.

James chuckled, sitting up along with the Russian,

"Yea do you not remember what happen Aleksandr?"

Aleks' face scrunched up at the teasing tone and wondered,

"Did I get drunk?"

James sighed and gave Aleks a stern look. Aleks stared back until it clicked causing his eyes to widen.

He lurched to get up off the couch but was pulled back by James' strong grip latching around his torso.

"Where do you think your goin?"

James muttered into the back of Aleks' neck. Aleks just turned his head to, the side face flushed, unable to determine if he wanted to look James in the eyes.

James continued to embrace the other from behind sleepily playing with his hair.

"J-James is this ok with you?" Aleks warily tested.

James slouched forward groaning into Aleks back causing him to jump a little.

"Goin back on your move so soon?"

James whispered solemnly already loosening his grip on the thinner man. Maybe it was too early but damn he didn't think he had it in him to wait any longer.

Aleks swiveled in his arms facing him with a panicked look,

"No! It's not that. It's just it hard to believe that we could be a thing."

Aleks brought up a hand up to James' shirt balling it up in his fist. He looked James straight in the eyes as he confessed,

"I want us to be a thing. I need for us to be a thing."

James let out a relieved sigh bringing Aleks on to his lap, Aleks legs bent on either side of him. Aleks brought a hand up to caress James' bearded cheek as he leaned into claim the lips that were his and only his. James but backs moan at Aleks' sudden ferocity but fought back. As James slowly brought a hand under Aleks' shirt his ears picked up the familiar steps of his daughter.

James quickly broke away from Aleks causing him to whine at the loss of contact. Bringing a leg over so that Aleks was now sitting sideways across his lap, Anya darted into the room. She zone into in Aleks' lap and launched herself up plopping in her supposed rightful place.

"Daaaddddyyyy! You still hewr! I dint want you to be gone,"

Anya squealed wrapping her arms around the astounded Russian.

Aleks blinked down at the girl who was currently hanging off of his neck wondering how she had appeared out of nowhere.

James chuckled ruffling her bed head,

"Anya Im glad your happy that Aleks slept over but you might suffocate the poor guy."

Anya yelped letting go of Aleks as if he was on fire.

Aleks snapped out f his confusion and brought his lanky arms around the small child,

"Don't listen to him Anya. You can hug me anytime, anywhere princess."

James melted at what was literally happening in his lap. He brought arms around both of them engulfing them in a bear hug causing the two to burst out laughing as Ein barked up at them from the floor wanting to be included.

So I finished this during the trip home from RTX 2015. I was like I need to be productive and I was, yay!

RTX was my first convention and I had a blast!! Everyone was so sweet and amazing. The Interns were so freaking nice and the creatures themselves.... Dude I'm still processing that fact that they were in front of me. But yea anywayyyysss hope yall enjoyed the chapter :]
