Waiting For Superman (Camren)

Chapter Two

"Camila!" Fifth Harmony's road manager, Skylar called out to Camila.

"Hey," Camila smiled up hurriedly trying to finish up the last touches of makeup on her face. "What's up?"

"Please keep an eye on what Lauren says during the interview today?" Skylar almost begged Camila. "I overheard management talking again, and it's not good. They really don't like when she talks about making changes, and not like the producers, etc. Just keep a leash on her please?"

"Sure," Camila frowned. "Would they do anything about it?"

"Truth? They could very well do something as drastic as kick her out." Skylar sighed. She turned away from Camila, and started calling out to the rest of the girls. "5 minutes before you have to be out the door!"

Skylar shot a sorry look at Camila and was out the room before Camila could ask anything else. The girls all shuffled into the room, and made their way onto the couch, crowding around, as close as possible, to make room for all 5 of them to fit. Camila had close to no space, and she sat half on Dinah, who in reply pushed her, whining. "Chancho! Really!?"

"Hey! We're Fifth Harmony, and we'll be answering some of your questions today! Thanks Romeo for having us!" Lauren chimed, introducing the other girls, as they got the signal that they were live. With a huge grin on her face Lauren handed the phone to Normani, for her to read out the first question.

"Hey can I skip a question?" Normani giggled. "I can't really answer this one! The rest of you would get mad!"

"No! You have to follow the order!" Lauren laughed, shoving Normani playfully. She reached up to grab the phone back, reading out the question. "Who in the group would you want to switch voices with if you had to?"

"It's ok Manibear you don't always have to choose me!" Ally teased.

"This is really hard! They all have amazing voices!" Normani chuckled letting Ally's comment slide.

"It's ok Mani, the rest of them won't feel bad." Ally giggled still teasing Mani.

"Ok fine I'll choose!" Normani exclaimed purposefully being all dramatic. "It's actually a tie between Camren."

"Oh no, not you too!" Lauren feigned annoyance as covered her face with her hands, shaking her head. Camila cheekily patted Lauren's head as if comforting a puppy, which lead to the whole group breaking into a fit of laughter.

"Saying Camren is easier than Camila and Lauren!" Normani defended still chuckling.

As the laughter settled down, Camila reached for the phone. She scrolled through the phone which led to Normani gasping and shoving Lauren's shoulder. "You let her skip questions but not me!?"

"She can't help it! She's my Lolo." Camila defended in place of Lauren, who just stuck her tongue out at Normani. "Okay. The question is... Is Camren real?" Camila pretended to be deep in thought about it.

"Camz!" Lauren groaned at Camila's choice in questions.

Camila took the opportunity to shuffle herself into Lauren's lap, extending one arm around Lauren's shoulders whilst cuddling up to her. "I love my Lolo." She smiled placing a kiss on Lauren's cheek. "But no, Camren is not real." She laughed, loving that she was teasing all the fans.

Camila stayed in Lauren's lap for the rest of the show, finally the last question came up and it was Lauren's turn to answer. Ally read the question out loud. "What would you change about the experience you've had so far?"

"Well, if the experience had been different, I wouldn't have made my four best friends." Lauren gushed, causing the rest of the girls to pull Lauren into a hug. "But," Lauren started again, "If I had to change something, it would be kicking up the quality of production on our music. Only our singles really hit the public, and I hope one day we get to the point where of our songs are as well produced as our singles."
