Stiles and Lydia sat on his bed. He had closed the curtains and turned his lamp on so the room gave off a night time type of feel.

"I've never slept over at a guy's house before," Lydia admitted.

Stiles was surprised that she hadn't slept over at Jackson's house before but he thought it would be rude to ask. "Just think of it as a sleepover at Allison's house."

"Yeah, I don't think Allison watches Breaking Bad," Lydia said as she pointed to the poster above his desk.

Stiles had a lot on his mind. He wanted to find his dad. He must've left 12 voice mails already and all of his texts went unread. He was having an internal panic attack but he couldn't let Lydia know.

There was only one bed in Stiles' room so Lydia would either have to sleep on the couch or beside him. His eyes drifted over to her body. She was still wearing her pink bikini. But he had given her his jacket an hour ago.

"You know what? You can't sleep in a bathing suit. I'll give you something to wear. You can even take a shower if you want."

"Thank you. For everything. I really appreciate it."

Stiles rummaged through his drawers until he found a small Star Wars T-shirt and his middle school gym shorts. He knew they'd fit her just right.

She thanked him and left to the bathroom. He waited a few seconds for the shower to turn on. Then he closed his door and took a few deep breaths.

His phone suddenly vibrated and he threw himself onto the bed to check it. Unfortunately, it was just Scott.

"Yello."

"Dude, I'm at the gas station with my mom. She went inside to pay for the gas but I swear I saw Allison's dad and Kate putting Derek in the trunk of their SUV."

"Whoa. Whoa. Whoa. Slow down, Scott. Did you follow them?"

"I couldn't. My mom was in the car and she can't know about this stuff. I saw them take Kirkman down to East and make a right. I'm guessing they're going back to his house."

"Maybe they're going to kill him! We should go check it out."

"No, man. I heard them say they could trap someone. Someone named Joe. Maybe they're using Derek as bait?"

"Derek is bait? You don't use a shark to catch another shark."

"Not unless Derek's a considerably smaller shark! Stiles, I think we're dealing with something much bigger. I mean, how many people can control animals?!?"

"I don't know, Scott. There's nothing I can do now. I need to wait here with Lydia in case my dad comes home. And I can't have Lydia stay home alone."

"I understand. If anything, I'll get back to you."

"Be safe, Scott. I mean it."

"You too. Use protection."

With that, the line went dead and Stiles just stood there with his jaw dropped.

A few minutes later, Lydia returned to the room. She was drying her hair with a towel and was now wearing his clothes. He found himself staring at her body again. He couldn't help but feel his mini Stiles perk up a little.

"So uh...I'll let you watch some TV while I go shower. Then I'm going to sleep downstairs."

"Wait... why can't you just sleep up here with me?"

"Well...I can...I just... I didn't know if you'd like that."

"We're just sleeping, Stiles."

"Not according to Scott," Stiles mumbled under his breath.
