Robin's point of view.
So it took me a while to figure it out, that Superboy was mad att me. Or annoyed. He was something, and his bad poker face and lack of words gave him away. But by then we were less than a mile away from The Cave and I thought that it didn't actually matter- because if it had he would have said something about it. I thought about the possibility of me forgetting something that could tick him off- like the dishes in The Cave's kitchen or not fluffing the pillows in the soffa which often ticked him off. But only if Miss Martian, or Megan like she likes to be called, did it. If Wally forgot to fluff a pillow he didn't really care... it was something about Megan that kept him on his feet at all time, and also made him extremely annoyed. And alive.
I stared at him, and I think he noticed because, as he steered the flyer, his expression harden even more. It was almost comical, how his expression went from mad to even madder. He was waiting for me to bring it up.
"Okay" I said and gave in. "What is it?"
"What it is? Are you kidding me?" he said and turned his head around and stared at me with this twinkle of annoyance shinning bright together with a bit of anger in his eye.
"No, I am not joking, and I do not know what it is that is bothering you."
"Well, you call me in the middle of the night-"
"It's not really the night, it's more like-"
"I don't care, you call me in the middle of the night and pretty much ask me to kidnap an unconscious girl in an ally." He said and glared at me with dark eyes. " I could assume this behaviour from Wally, not you because last time I checked this is pretty illegal in the United States, and morally wrong for that matter-"
"Illegal in the United States? What are you, the law book?" I said and chuckled a bit.
"No, I'm just a citizen." He said annoyed.
"Yeah? It says so on your birth certificate?" I said sarcastically and looked out the window on the woods below, I heard how Superboy shuffled in his seat.
It became quite and I kept staring out on the trees, after a while I realised that my sarcasm may had hit in a place where I didn't want it to. And I wished I hadn't said it. Damn it, apologising wasn't my best
"Connor, I'm sorry." I said and turned my head around.
"It's okay...I guess" He said and shrugged.
"Does it make you feel better if I tell you we're not kidnaping a girl?"
"Well, I could figure since she was extremely hot- temper wise- that we really weren't..." He said and looked at me apologetic, I stared out the window and were not surprised that the trees I had looked out on only a second ago had turned in to water and rocks. I saw the secret entrance to The Cave.
"Yeah, you're not dumb." I said as the port opened and Superboy steered in, and I swore I heard Superboy mumble something about dumb people as soon as he laid his eyes on Wally through the window standing by the doorway to the Hanger.
As soon as he landed the flyer I was up from my seat and walked back to the one where the girl was fast asleep, her head laying in a uncomfterble position tilted back with her lips slightly parted. The sound of small breaths made me cautious, I didn't really want to wake her.
"Is she still hot?" Superboy said behind me.
My eyebrows shut together. "Yes, probably if I have counted the way her body cools down right which means approximately 35-"
"Okay, I really don't care and it's really weird that you have been measuring a persons temper like that to make a formula about how her temper cools, it's kind of stalker-ish." He said as he walked up to her and literally threw her over his shoulder like she was a doll of some sort.
"It was for scientific reasons!" I said and walked after him out of the flyer.
"You know, guys" Wally said as he strolled over the floor with a cocky smirk covering his face. "I think that you sometimes really, super much actually, underestimate me. Just because I'm fast, doesn't mean I'm not strong- I can actually carry someone, you really don't need a superpower to carry someone, even though it's seems to be your only superpower, Connor," he stopped to give Suberboy a really sweet but fake smile "doesn't mean I can't do it too."
Superboy just huffed at him as he walked past and didn't even give him a glance, he continued through the hanger and walked out the door with the girl still hanging over his shoulder. Wally huffed right back as Superboy had disappeared and then turned to me for an acknowledgement or an answer. But he didn't get one right away, so he continued. "I bet he is grumpy now because I didn't mention his ability to punch his way through walls...BUT any ways, back to the subject-I can actually CARRY a girl, they are not that heavy, 130 pounds or so- I can actually lift 130 pounds and hold for a minute. You don't need a superpower to do that."
"No, you don't need to have superpowers to carry 130 pounds, but you do need superpowers to carry 130 pounds that are tempered up to 190 degrees Celsius..." I said and smirked as the smirk on his face dried off
"190 degrees what now?" he said chocked.
"Yes, Celsius, and that was after she had cooled down a bit."
Wally stod frozen for awhile and I used that for my advantage and rushed past him after Superboy. I caught up with him in the kitchen. And so did Wally.
Superboy put the girl down on the kitchen island and backed up to lean on the counter, Wally stared at her. "This really brings a whole new meaning to 'a hot girl'-phrase."
"Do you ever shut up?" Superboy said.
"Nah, not really I talk in my sleep too." Wally answered back and shrugged Superboy's comment off. "My mom was really pissed when I confessed in my sleep that I was the one who ate the last cookie a couple years ago."
"Who ate the last cookie?" a girl's voice said behind us. Megan.
"Yeah right, " another voice answered back "like anyone actually would be able to eat your cookies Megan, you don't have to worry about that..." Megan literally flew in through the door and Artemis was right behind her. "what the heck..."
"Why is there a human girl lying on our kitchen counter?" Megan said while Artemis just stood there starring with an opened mouth.
"I can explain" I said and just as I said it the girl coughed, as I turned around I
saw a pair of eyes staring at me from behind a wall of curly hair.
