I Call The Shots

Sorry but i couldn't NOT write a LxLight fanfiction. I literally adore this ship it's one of my favourites. Spin the bottle, drinks, lights out- i mean, what could possibly go wrong?

(Btw, i dedicate this story or chapter or whatever to 2 of my best friends Emily and Natalie who are Misa's friends in this. They're awesome so hi guys. Enjoy the story.

Eventually, they were all seated and Misa suddenly smacked her palms down to the floor, her legs crossed; leaning forward slightly. There was a mischievous glimmer in her eyes.

"Let's play spin the bottle."

Emily (who was one of Misa's friends) clapped excitedly.

"I hope i get to steal a kiss from him," she announced wistfully.

"Light's mine," Misa quickly shot out, a smug grin on her lips.

"No not him, the other one."

Ryuzaki raised an eyebrow slightly. He heard Light chuckle beside him.

"Ryuzaki got himself a little admirer huh?" he whispered to L in a sickly tone. The insomniac didn't even have to look- he could practically feel that cunning, crooked grin aimed at his direction. L breathed an abrupt sigh and looked at the girl. Nothing personal sweetheart, he thought honestly. But catch me loving somebody. Or letting someone "steal kisses" off of me.

In the end he just remarked "Shut up Yagami San." The teenager grinned gleefully.

"Make me."

Before the party started another one of Misa's friends: Natalie, shot everyone a smirk and brought out 2 bottles from her black rucksack. "I've got the drinks," she confirmed slightly proudly swinging the bottles of Vodka and Red Wine. Misa looked ecstatic and pleased as she clapped her hands and beamed at the purple haired girl. Emily bit her lip uncomfortably. "I don't know about the drinks bit," she admitted pushing up her glasses slightly. "I don't even like alcohol."

Natalie shot her disapproving look but Misa held her shoulder and beamed a confident smile.

"Well try not to land on any dares then! You've just shown us your weakness."

Natalie and Light laughed but L stayed quiet, just watching the scene go on.

"But really Emily San," Misa continued this time her tone a little more serious. "One swig of this stuff," she said, pointing. "And you won't taste a thing."

A little smile poked through. "Okay," she said her voice a little more determined than before. Misa grinned, leaning back slightly like she had solved everything.

"We'll get the shot glasses," Light offered, getting up. "Come on Ryuzaki."

L watched him for a second but got up anyhow, not waiting for Light to pull him up. The high schooler grabbed the bottle with the red wine in as well before he got to the kitchen.

The detective stood beside him in the kitchen, left foot over right foot, arms crossed simply thinking. Soon enough, his thoughts were broken.

"Man, red wine is a favourite of mine," Light remarked taking a long sip. L listened to the pop as Light's lips slid off the bottle. The teenager sighed softly before opening the cabinet to look for the shot glasses.

"Got a girl then huh Ryuzaki?" Yagami teased not looking over his shoulder. His voice slipped out easier. L was not aware of how much Light had drank already, but noticed the drinks were already taking their toll.
Christ. As well as having to deal with an overly hormonal, arrogant high schooler that hates my guts- Im going to have to deal with him drunk.

The insomniac gazed down at the cuff on his wrist and followed the chain to Light's wrist that so unfortunately connected them. Fancy having to be binded to someone you hate.
It was your idea remember.
As if Light Yagami could be Kira anyway.

The thought made him shudder slightly before he switched his thoughts to Light's remark.

"Yagami-San Im personally not after anyone at the moment," he stated monotonously, rubbing his thumb upon his lips. A soft, almost girly giggle escaped the boy's lips as he removed his head from the cabinet, several shot glasses in his hands. He shot a
wistful, was it?

gaze at L, his pupils wide and dilated under the influence of the wine.

"Not after love are we Ryuzaki-San?" Light questioned in a honey like tone. He placed the glasses down to the counter momentarily with a clink. L watched him, honestly curious. A mean smirk danced at the high schooler's lips.

"Perhaps you're just heartless," he shot out the smirk never leaving his lips. That hit L in the heart, he was sure of it. He didn't dare show it though. His posture remained slightly leaned back onto the counter, his arms crossed. Strangely, he noticed Light's eyes dance over his body.
The alcohol, L reckoned.

"A heart is not something i lack Light-San."

"Oh yeah?" Light questioned, his tone once again almost wistful.
And strangely seductive some crazy part of his brain muttered. Let's not forget you HATE him, he told his stupid brain abruptly.

"Well," Light continued moving closer to the detective. Much to L's surprise the blonde put his hands either side of L on the counter, and pressed his hips up towards him. L resisted the urge to widen his eyes, instead just trying to calm down the frantic, hot swirl of whatever the fuck it was in the pit of his stomach. The detective felt Light's right hand gently stroking at his hip. Then he began grinding against him. Slowly. Almost achingingly. L felt the feeling grow and his breath hitched in his throat. He felt himself subconsciously press his hips to Light's grinding ones. The friction sparked up something in his brain.
Is this lust?

He didn't know. But despite everything, his mouth was shut and his eyelids were threatening to shut as his breath became shallow. Much to his surprise, he wasn't complaining. And this was Light Yagami.

"Alright, i won't break that," Light whispered into L's ear, his hips still moving. His breath was hot on the skin of the insomniac.

"But i sure will break your resistance."

L didn't know what to think.
Well you know you've hit rock bottom when the world's greatest detective is dumbstruck, he thought bitterly.

Light suddenly stopped moving and almost instantly, L felt himself missing his presence.
What the hell is this?

"Come on Ryuzaki," Light ushered, the glasses now in his hands. He tugged slightly at the chain. With no choice, L followed. He managed to catch a knowing smirk aimed his way as they walked out of the kitchen, too.

"A heart is not something i lack Light-San."

"Alright, i won't break that. But i sure will break your resistance."
